Try a serious exfoliating body wash/seasalts. A light self tanner to even everything out and it all wears off about the same time maybe? Exfoliaters work wonder plus make your skin soft!

I believe on the wedding shows when there's a night before wedding spray tan disaster the planners make a sugar or salt scrub (raw sugar crystals or sea salt, which is harsher) and lemon juice, you can also add sweet almond oil and a couple drops of your fav essential oil if you wanna jazz it up and do more of a salt glow while getting your tan off. Be gentle when you use this though...scrub too hard with the manual exfoliators (sugar and salt) and the lemon juice's acid will burn instead of just exfoliate.

Has anyone had problems with competition color getting in their pores and having breakouts a week later? I have always had very clear skin but now I have bumps all over (mostly torso) so I know it is from the tan products. It is horrible, any experience with this?

oh the self tanner is a great idea! I never even thought of that. My arms and legs are looking like a giraffe at the moment! I use the scrub gloves with exfoliator but it still takes about 10 days to get it all off

Haha no prob, I've never competed but have with collegiate dance and we always wanted to be super tan so I know a few tricks. I think I'll have to make some sugar scrub sans lemon, when I get home...holistic, cheap...can't beat that!

Baking Soda works wonders Try that in the shower... As far as breaking out, it could be an allergic reaction to whatever sort of protan you use for the show.
