Question On My Curl

I have been bodybuilding for 2 months now and started only curling dumbells 12.5lbs (yes, weak).

But now would it be better for me to curl 20 lbs for 3 sets of 10 or 25 lbs for 3 sets of 6?

some days do 20 for 10 reps, other days go heavier and do 25 for 6 reps

ive actually found that doing heavy weight for low reps helps better than high reps for strength but different things work for different people.
