Seeing results with diet..not so much exercise

So I took my measurements two weeks ago and to my surprise lost a couple inches already? I started working out 2 weeks ago but the past few days have only been able to eat pretty clean...well, minus the happy hour night...
But is it safe to assume I have lost inches in 2 weeks or should I not get my hopes up and think I must have been retaining water or something the first time I measured?

its not always about inches lost...what does the mirror say. if you are shaped like a pear (not that you are) and all you loose is inches, you will just be a smaller pear. YOU NEED to add muscle to your body, to give it a good shape. don't neglect thoose weights. IF you diet without execise, YOU WILL REBOUND, YOU WILL have a slower metabolism.

Thanks Kimm! Yes I had been doing weights, but the past couple days I have not been able to do as much since my sitter(mom) is out of town for the week and my youngest is too little to go to the gym daycare.
I had asked a couple weeks ago how often one should measure themselves and the majority of people responded with 2 weeks. I was just not sure if I was really getting results or if its more water....if this is the case I will measure myself once a month!!
Thanks again you two

Great job! So are you working on getting back to your pre-preg weight?

Are you breastfeeding as well? If so, that could be helping a lot!!!
