Both parents have really gotten sucked into it. I see my pops about twice a month, and everytime its the same old q..."Changed your mind?"
Its going to be May 2011 next time I even think of seeing a prolonged dieting phase. They will just have to be patien, and I hope it doesn't loose its excitement by then.

Its a unique hobby! LOL I am sure it will change once they see first hand all the weeks and weeks of hard work you put into a show. You just watch!

How did it feel throwing the squats back into the routine? The form was spot on, IMO. Any time that I need a quick chuckle, I come in here and see the beard! Keep it up, Berto. I would honestly wonder what that would look like with you being the only guy who is completely shaved except for the mane.

I ran a couple cycle MAX-OT cycles back in the days. VERY solid program, and I would recommend it anyone. Might try in the future, my only issue with it is that you would think that because of my higher volume approach I would have lost that killer instinct to take a set to the unknown. When the truth is, that I tend to get carried away, and will pretty much end up hurting myself. I have learned overtime that I can be my own worst enemy sometimes.
Where as higher volume, with much more frequency lets me nibble and move on. See now you got me all temped now. LOL
Best back compliment I got last year was at a gym in Oakland. Now if you have never heard of how it goes down here in Oakland...No E-Thugs, boys don't play.
So I am in getting my workout on, and the most thuged out dude comes up to me and say's. "Yo my ***** not to sound gay and ****, but you got a beautiful back." The fact that he used the word beautiful almost made me start cracking up right then and there.
Kinda like Brandon, I never did much for them, but deadlift. Deadlifts are cool in that it pretty much has your back...and your trap, hams...LOL
High lats can look cool to though.
I got soooo much potential.
When it comes to the teres size does matter! Even cosmo agrees!
Let my mother play with the camera yesterday, and these were stills from some video she shot. Though she doesn't think I have much potential, she just things I let myself go. As you can see I am still perpetually shirtless, and like to show off the flub.
You can still see hints of the teres! And I have no idea what you call that back pose. lol
I would post the vid, but she is verbally abusive.
The locker room ones, I still in my mind thought I was not lean enough. LOL What prep does to your mind.

You sort of look like Al Pacino in the movie Serpico in this pic haha, looking beastly though

Can't decide what's more impressive - your lifts, or your manly ass beard . Keep up the good work, you're an inspiration Berto. I plan to get the majority of my offseason advice from your journal and ideas... since you seem to be the king of productive offseasons.
