*Accutane Thread* (Before and After)

I am in my last month of accutane and I am a bit worried what would happen after that.

Exactly, it's only good for people who really need it, not for people who use other treatments that work for them. It's like a last resort and the best I say.

Depends on your insurance.
Each month I pay $10 for 60 capsules (Taking 2 a day) they last me a month.
Probably more if you don't have as good of insurance. Maybe something to look into.

****'s good. My acne isn't as bad as OPs but I still have some on my face. I pay 5 bucks for the medicine, but the once-a-month doctor's appointment and blood analysis is the expensive part, paying like 150 a month in total

I had pretty bad bacne (not as bad as OP) and some acne on my face and went on accutane for 4 months. Cleared up nicely, havent gotten a breakout since, still have scars on my back but they are healing quickly. There were side effects though. Dry lips ALL the time got really annoying. Also, I noticed was I would get really angry really easily while on it and made me overall more easily irritable.

I have good health care with the military, it's just that sometimes they won't prescribe certain things right away.

lulz. Innumerable studies have proven that what you said is exactly false.

Accutane worked for me, back in my teenage years. Side effects were heightened triglycerides that never went back down to normal levels. Another drug worked on that (yes daily) so now I am acne free and healthy.

While I was on it I actually had a more positive self-image, and was less aggressive and more upbeat.
