swimming for cutting

Im gonna start cutting for the summer, and for a change i thought instead of running i could swim, anyone get good results swimming when their cutting?

I swam as my cardio for a summer. It was pretty effective even though I'm not trained as a swimmer. Eventually my lack of breathing skills caught up with me though and I ended up switching to something I was better at.

Do you have experience swimming? I found that since I didn't really know what I was doing I never got the breathing down on certain strokes and that was a problem for obvious reasons. If not you may have some one watch you and make sure your form is good so you don't have problems later.

I get good results from swimming, while i was cutting....i highly recommend it. Plus keep you fit as well

swimming is the best cutting/cardio IMO.

i love cycling but when im on the bike on a regular basis i might as well not bother squatting, and running messes your knees up.
