Lately I been using honey as the topping for my toast. And it is amazing, but I know its sweet but I always thought it was pretty good for you, is it bad? Is it killing my cut? Thanks nutrition.

Honey does possess antimicrobial & antiviral properties so it's good for cuts.

Hell yeah man Honey is made up of mostly fructose.
My cousin got super fat because he liked to put honey on his oats and honey on his PB and Banana sandwiches.
He used to be extremely lean, after adding honey to his diet he became obese and was diagnosed with heart disease among other medical problems.
Stay away from that ****.
P.S.
Def don't eat it after 6PM. It has been reported that your body can just explode overnight from all the fat you'll put on.

No, it's not mostly fructose - composition is ~50% give or take depending upon the type.

He/she was agonizing over 0.3g of trans fat in milk earlier, so I really don't know anymore lol. We can debate about honey making you fat, not it's composition though lol.

Yeah, it was a joke and honey is mostly made out of fructose.
Not too mention I think the g of transfat in milk is definitely relevant, if you drink up to multiple servings of it a day (like lots of people do) you could quickly have a very significant amount of transfat, not too mention you got your intake of milk + other dairy, could quickly become a significant level of transfat.
though the whole thing may be wrong and that might not be the amount in milk and the natural transfat might not even be bad, which is why I would like to learn more on this situation.

I'm pretty sure the 12g of trans fat in a single bag of microwave popcorn is a significant level of trans fat. Trace amounts in something like dairy is not.
Honey is nature's processed sugar. (processed by the digestive tract of your friendly local bees) Raw honey is some of the best stuff ever, and if you can afford the calories, put it on whatever you want! Or eat it off the spoon! (just don't buy that clear liquid ****, real honey is opaque, yellowish white and very viscous)

i'll address the trans fat thing since this thread got bumped.
trans fat naturally in food = not bad (well, CLA is kinda bad, but whatevs)
trans fat made via partial hydrogenation = bad
say it with me
natural = good
unnatural = bad
this is like the one situation where that stupid mantra is actually true.

CLA is bad now?!? What the flying fack are you on about? I think I'm going to have a stroke.
Honey isn't "bad" for you at all...as long as you don't get all winnie the pooh with it and glop down a gallon a day.

Aside from this, it is good substitute for you table sugar. But an article i found says this:
Honey and table sugar are processed in the same way by your body, and honey cannot be a quicker source of energy. An advertisement for honey claims that "ounce for ounce, honey has fewer calories than refined sugar." This is true but deceptive because honey contains water which has no calories and refined sugar does not. A tablespoon of table sugar has 64 calories while a tablespoon of honey contains water so that it has only 46, but they are both equally fattening. You add sweeteners by taste, not by careful measurement, and you will use the same number of calories to obtain the same sweetness using either sugar or honey.
So take honey in moderation also.

Great article! I agree with you, as long as you're not downing several containers a day, there is nothing wrong with honey...as with everything, moderation is key.

Honey is sugar syrup. Kinda like HFCS with traces of vit/minerals. It is a fine sweetener.
Just don't feed raw honey to babies and you're all good.
