no no the concept of newbie gains is well known.. im saying even with newbie gains no one can gain 10 pounds of lean muscle mass in a month, and 60 pounds of lean mass in 6 months...think again. at MAX you can gain up to 2 pounds of muscle per month, that is with everything perfect, diet, sleep, training. im guessing for most people its even less than that.
so if everything was perfect with your routine (which is hard to believe if you had just started) you could have gained a possible 12 pounds of muscle out of that 60. the majority of it was mostly fat, the rest was water and glycogen stores.

No, you are wrong, do your research please. Congrats on gaining 60 pounds, shame only 12 or less of that is muscle. Are you competing as a sumo wrestler, or do you just like your Mcdonalds?
To the OP, nice definition keep it up

Correct. 100%. If I can gain 10lbs of hard-earned muscle in a year, I'll consider that an AWESOME year.

ive never went on a bulk, I think its stupid to sit there and say "im clean bulking my brains out!" Im on a constant goal to gain nothing but mass...I eat to build muscle all the time, but I eat right so i stay lean. I never do cardio. Oh and ive done everything right from the beginning, had a friend that knows his stuff. i train 6 days a week, monday-saturday, then take a break on sunday. I train each bodypart twice a week, with 4-5 workouts per bodypart, within reps of 8-10. My bodyfat is probably pretty low, I dont know exactly, but ive been told around 5%. I dont know If I would call it newbie gains...I didnt really get any solid gains untill about 4 months...then just now ive started to see massive results. I just know how to make the body grow...im very strict on diet...and I plan to compete so I have to know everything about the sport and how things work.

My diet is very simple...I eat whenever I want, and how much i want, I just simply stay away from all the junk. My routine changes. But right now Its monday-saturday. i train each bodypart twice a week, with 4-5 workouts per bodypart, and reps from 8-10.
