My ****ty progress

Below is a pic i just took (right), trying to get the same position as left pic for comparison.

The left is a bit over 2 yrs old. I was training much more consistently, harder, and following a way better diet back then, these days im barley training once per week, and only lifting light ass weights (trying to use good form). Im still eating pretty good but nowhere near as many calories as i used to.

I really have lost motivation to do the whole train 4 times a week + follow strict diet set in stone, and i know it's just unacceptable for bodybuilding, but my question is how am i doing, and what needs work?

I've been getting really upset with myself every time i go to the gym because i just can't lift the weighs i used to. I know my goal isn't strength but it's really been getting to me. Im also lighter by quite a bit than i was then, which pisses me off slightly.

What do you guys thinkshould i be looking to do? And what should i be working on. Thank you in advance for any input and i'll give reps to good replys tnx.

Still looking good dude.

I'd hit those delts hard bro. You had awesome swole shoulders a couple of years ago.

Looking leaner now though, and chest looks bigger.

nothing to worry about in my opinion. The weight will pick up quicker than you expect.

Don't worry about the reps.

You are looking good and thick! If you are looking for a change in training to keeps you from reaching that point of boredom, frustration, and plateau (at least it did for me), I recommend Eric Broser's Power/Rep Range/Shock training. You can find plenty of information on this on this forum, by visiting www.prrstraining.com, or by sending me a PM.

I think you answered your own questions in your own post. You say you've lost motivation, a strict diet, and you're not training as consistently. Because of this, you can't expect to lift the same weights as before, and take it upon yourself to drop the weights and your ego. Once you get a routine in, you'll start picking it up. You can't expect to pick it up right away, but stick with a routine and stay positive!
stay strong
