Just broke up with my girlfriend of 10 months tonight, it sucks doesnt it. Sigh

WTF? What a f***ed up day! She said she wanted space to find out if she likes me or her ex boyfriend who lives in San Antionio better(who she visited recently in her trip three months back), and I had a 50/50 chance. But she wanted to keep in touch and still hang out.....wtf? At first she was conservative in her affection but then was kissing me and grabbing me as the day went on, acting like we were dating...etc. But seemed secure in her decision to want space. I never acted like a bitch and said I was gonna be dating in the near future. She said she couldn't stand me dating anyone.

MY theory:

She was keeping in touch with this dude for three months and was making plans to move back there, the whole job thing was a part of the lie. Then I guess I got the axe so she could feel better. She claims she never f***** him.....ya right.

After we got lunch she had a bag of my **** and some flip flops she bought for me. We made out and she started crying. Then 2 hours later I snapped and told her I knew she was cheating and I'm not gonna wait around for her
and don't call me.

It'll probably be tough for a little while but I'd hang out the bars/clubs for a while and enjoy being single until a better girl comes along. You know what this is probably for the better, everything begins and ends like the seasons of nature. I had some good times with her and I will always remember that. But if her feelings are with that other dude than cool, it's probably for the best. Am I sad as F*** right now? Yeah I am, but it's normal for anyone and each day it's fading. The next chick is probably gonna be sooo much a better match and the universe has a plan for all of us. Just go with the flow. The ex never worked out and to me it was a compromise, I would really be happy if a girl trained as seriously as I did, that would be such a connection. But in the mean time finding a replacement is not a priority, the ideal thing would be to really focus on winning the novice class in my first contest coming this August....and becoming the best man I can be in other things too. Then I can take my pick of women, and have some choices.

i just went through a similar situation, it sucked for like 3 days, then some girl showed some interest and got a little play out of the situation, then I used that new confidence to get some more, trust me, using your dick is the fastest way to feel better, you are a man with nothing to lose, so harness that power and go get some tail.

Thanks bro, I have to accept the fact that it's time to move on. I'm working on some girls right and it's just a matter of time before I'm happy. Then the ex will call to check up on me a month down the road but then I'm gonna just blow her off.

You need to do the following:

A) You need to stop meeting up with her. Stop everything involved with her. CUT OFF ALL CONTACT.

B) Do not sit at home and do nothing. This just allows you to think about her and what you once had which often triggers an emotional response (such as working things out). GO OUT WITH FRIENDS, drink, hav fun, meet new girls just take your mind off her. Remember girls come and go, but true friends are forever.

C) LIFT HARD IN THE GYM. Concentrate on you and only you. Make youself a better person. Work out, study, make money, look for a better job, basically improve you.

D) REMEMBER, YOU BROKE UP FOR A REASON. Keep telling yourself that. When you do begin to ponder about her (which you will), think of the negatives and how better off you are without her.

E) TIME HEALS ALL. It's hard to imagine not caring about this girl but believe me over time your feelings will change, it just takes time. Be patient. Don't take a backwards step and go back to her. You did the right thing.

THIS!!! my girlfriend of 3 years broke up with me about a month ago and it sucked..it was real tough and i honestly felt terrible for about 5 days. i loved her a lot..still do love her, but never would even think of getting back with her or even talking to her..it happened for a reason, and i keep thinking that and that alone makes me happy its ended rather than later when im older, because obviously it wouldnt have worked out. i still care about her, and i tried to keep in touch to hold onto the friendship, because she was my best friend, but it was the biggest mistake i made. We dont talk now, and havent and im doing fine. hanging out with people meeting girls..lifting hard..it definitely sucked at first, but now i realize it all wasnt even worth it man
