It depends on what I'm doing. If I'm baking chicken or something, I use extra virgin olive oil. If I'm deep frying something, I use vegetable oil, but I rarely do that. I use a non-stick cooking spray for cooking most foods though.

i like to use pam made with olive oil for most cooking adventures. however, if i notice i realize i haven't gotten enough EFA's in, then i usually go for some EVOO to cook up some eggs or for baking chicken.

If I'm cooking in a pan I'll use grapeseed oil and use olive oil after cooked (i.e. a tablespoon on veggies, or chicken). Just me.

I use either rapeseed oil because of the name or safflower because the slight chance there may be some CLA trans-fat inside it, which supposedly has some benefits to fat loss.

Sesame oil is especially fragile and should be added later during cooking to perserve its flavor.
I use olive oil liberally in all my cooking. I fry in peanut oil. Will use coconut oil and lard occasionally for a heavier mouth feel when desired. Canola oil for baking or when i want neutral flavor.

I use coconut oil and olive oil for cooking. I try to stay away from canola oil as much as possible in foods. Canola oil usually makes me sick so I stay away from it.

I use Smart Blend oil...I think it's a mix of a few different oils. It's loaded with Omegas, and doesn't really have too bad of a taste...

really..do you not like it because you find it to be a "bad" oil which some people say and i dont understand why, or just dont like it..because to me it doesnt have that distinct of a taste or anything.

I use butter or meat drippings when frying.
I use butter or olive oil for low heat cooking or as a condiment.
reason: they are low in PUFA, and stable when heated

I use coconut oil most of the time, but occasionally unsalted butter. I remember once I used flax oil for some high temperature frying...NEVER doing that again.

It depends on the purpose. If I am adding an oil to a dish for taste after the cooking process, I usually use EVOO or sesame oil. If I am frying, I will use an oil with a higher flash point, basically any oil with a faded color like peanut oil, coconut oil, or light olive oil. If I am marinating vegetables or meats, I will use olive oil or grapeseed oil. A lot to choose from, all have there advantages and unique tastes

The last bottle of flax I bought (only used in salads) was rancid when I bought it. I thought something was wrong with it when I opened the bottle, strange smell and darker color than usual. I used it anyway and got so sick even though it was Barleans, the dates were good on it and was kept refridgerated. Goes to show you how fast flax oil can go rancid. Never again!

Olive oil is one of the best cooking oils to use as far as health is concerned. This is because oleic acids (fatty acids) from olives have a long carbon tail with many "kinks" in it which keep the molecules from stacking up like pieces of a jigsaw puzzle in your arteries, unlike trans fats, etc.
