Crap with that discrepancy in the difference between squat and dead I was expecting the squat to be way high. Not only was that legit depth, he made it look easy, like he had another 50lbs in him.

He left a bunch in the tank on both lifts. The deadlift especially was easy for him.

Sure did and like stated above, his bench looked EASY...real easy. Like there was 40-70lbs left in there.
The promoter (Kate Baird) told me this was Bens FIRST full power meet.. Any truth to that?

Yes sir. Not much of an arch either so as little "Belly benching" as I've seen from a 357lb'er. Lift off....stabilize....Down controlled...LONG ass touch/pause and an Even, controlled powerful push all the way to lockout.... Everyone in the building was in Aww at these lifts.

Ben is an absolute behemoth. There is video of the bench, it just hasn't been posted yet. The 630 was probably the right call for the final attempt, but it was as clean as a near-limit lift can be.

Damn! I've never heard of Ben Brand before, but he's an absolute beast. Anybody have more info about him? What was his best geared total? Does he keep a training log anywhere?

He hit 2400 in his first geared meet. As far as I know, he doesn't keep a log.
