ProdiGal needs prodding...?

Hey, gang.

Not sure who remembers me or not, but I posted here for awhile, last year.. I had a nasty car wreck which put off my training, and I fell off the train so to speak, as a result. So here I am, ready to begin again and keep it going. I started a membership at my old gym again, last Thursday. Or was it Wednesday? Might have been. Anyway, Friday, I tripped and fell down the last part of a set of stairs. Busted my ankle pretty bad, but it's not broken.

The crutches have let me know how much training I need on my upper body, so that's a workout in itself. I'm not sure what I should try with the lower body, just yet. As it is, I'm now going to need a ride over to the gym to do anything. We're looking into getting me into the pool once the cuts scab over enough, but my family will be out of town next week, so I'm not going anywhere until Memorial Day, at least.

The doctor said I should be good to go within a month and a half, two months. This is good to know, because I am going to Japan in July, and I will need to be able to get around and walking by then.

Hope everyone's training has been going well! I'm back in the student's desk... going to reread and relearn nutrition and see where I am on that side of things. (I've been spoiled since the fall. They brought me ECLAIRS... OMG...)

Lost almost 45 lbs in 2008 so far. It shall remain monitored, and it shall be maintained, for good.

Good to see you back! Sorry the last several months have been so hard on you.

I was going to suggest the pool as a form of exercise until your ankle is healed...

Thanks, Amanda. It feels good to finally be back here, even if I'm not up to 100% ready to hit the iron. There have been some good things in the last few months, too, so it evens out. It's just frustrating to have this latest setback, but it's temporary.

Yep. I know there's a lot that can be done in the water to help along with an injured whatnot. I was hoping there might be something I missed, though... Thanks, again.
