Finally a member of the 1000lbs club
So I've retested all my maxes during the last week and I, Mad Dog162, at age 21 and 198lbs at 12% body fat, am finally a member of the 1000lbs club.
Bench: 225lbs
A2G Squat: 365lbs
Deadlift: 410lbs
Am very happy.
(I don't have any friends who really lift, so I told you guys since I had no-one else to tell!)
Goals for September 1st:
Bodyweight of 220lbs at 12% or less.
Bench: 315lbs
A2G Squat: 405lbs
Power Clean: 280lbs (currently 220lbs)
Wish me luck!

Good job though, must feel good. And good luck with all your other progress in the future.

Thanks for all the congratulations guys.
I know the real reach goal is adding 90lbs to my bench. It'll be hard, but "a man's reach should exceed his grasp, if not then what's heaven for?"

Haha... there are lots of 1000lbs clubs. Surprised none of you have heard of it.
The two I care about:
Powerlifting: Bench, Squat, Dead
Football: Bench, Squat, Power Clean

Our school as made it to where anyone can pretty much be in the 1,000lb club (sadly we still only have like 10-15)
We add FOUR lifts which I think is ridiculous but w/e
We use
Bench
Squat
Jerk
Clean

Our school has something where they take the 4 lifts then subtract your body weight. Dunno. But one of few freshman that made the club.
Good work on your part....

You sure its not divided by your weight? To get the pound for pound ratio would be that. I've seen it done with clean/bench/squat though.
