Exclamation Bedtime snack

I ran out of my bedtime casein protein powder, so for the past few days i have been mixing cottage cheese with whey protein powder...is this a good meal to eat before bed, or do i need to add some fat like pb to slow the digestion

is it bad to have a lot of carbs before bed even when on a bulk?

If youre not caring about slimming up or cutting too much... as you probably well know, carbs are sugars that the body runs off of for energy. When those arent being used, by not being active, they turn into a not so beneficial source, usually equalling in extra weight. But if youre trying to bulk up, by all means...
I was talking to a guy the other day (about 21) and just saw him really bulk up decent and but on some good weight. He claimed he ate a double-decker pb & j sandwich every night before bed. A lot would have to do with your metabolism as well and how youll eventually be storing those carbs.

This is complete and utterly baseless broscience.

You can eat carbs whenever you want. Hell, it's 9pm here in the UK and I still need to get in another 200+ grams of carbs before I go to bed.
