Slim Xtreme - Strange Sides
I have been experiencing some strange side effects while taking Slim Xtreme: rapid heartbeat, irritability, pain in the left shoulder, extreme thirst, and frequent urination. I even experienced panic attack symtoms when I tried taking 2 pills early on. I take 1 pill/day now, and am not using any other medications. Some of these seem to align with the supplement itself, but also with anxiety and b1 deficiency. Would thiamine supplementation help, or is the supplement just aggrevating anxiety and I should stop taking it? I haven't had problems with anxiety in the past. So far I've tried it for 3 days, then stopped for a few days because of the sides. When I tried again, same thing. Has anyone else experienced something similar? Or can anyone offer some advice?

Hi Posie,
I believe your best option is to stop taking Slim Xtreme immediately and please do take advantage of our 100% money back guarantee. If you purchased Slim Xtreme through another website and they give you a hard time with the 100% money back guarantee, email me personally and I will take care of you.
My email is ken@anabolicx.com
Couple questions for you.
1. Are you consuming any other sources of caffeine throughout the day? Coffee, sodas, any other product that has any sort of caffeine content or stimulant in it?
2. Have you ever had or experienced panic attacks or symptoms of in the past?

Very responsible advise, Biceps! I agree that ANY supp should be stopped immediately if sides are encountered, that is if your doctor concurs. AX is a great company to offer a 100% no-questions refund too.
As a side note about 'strange sides':
I was in communication with a woman who used this product and suffered an unusual side effect as well. It was nothing unpleasant though, in fact she explained that she was having unusually strong orgasms from what she was used to. I advised her to stop of course (as is the responsible thing to do), but she laughed in my face! I guess one woman's anxiety is another woman's pleasure.

Leave it to D to put two women in the same sentence with the word "pleasure"...
In all seriousness, the gentlemen are correct. When it comes to side effects, there are certain ones that we can expect to see in a few cases based on personal trials and data presented before a product comes to market. In the initial phases of most every supplement, testing is done with real people one a level of security is attained that the product is safe for human consumption. While it may not be as regulated in this industry as it is in the pharmaceutical industry, AX holds its products to high standards. Each of us in this thread have tried SX in various forms before it even went to the bottling stage. When it comes out, we are aware of the sides and what we may expect to see...based on both anecdotal evidence from ourselves and others, and what typical reactions may be out there to whatever ingredients are included. (For some of us, we even take testing to extremes and megadose a product, sometimes taking our own bodies at a calculated risk, in order to find out what it will do if someone makes the mistake..ie, I've gone up to 3/day on SX, and others have gone higher.)
But there are always those rare instances when an individual has a rather unforseen reaction to the product that will result in more sever manifestations of the side effects. While SX works to calm most people, it may irritate others and cause anxiety issues. What caused this? What in SX is to blame? I honestly don't know. Moreover, it is more important that it happened and you presented it to us so that we can advise further. And in this case, it is apparent that the product may not be for you. We do apologize for any inconvenience or uncomfortable situations that it may have caused, and we do realize that...not to put it too bluntly, but...sometimes things happen.
I hope that you are able to return the product. We do place the guarantee on all we produce as assurance that we stand behind what we do 100%. In the future, we hope that you find a product that will be what you are looking for and more. And I personally hope that you find success. Whether it be with one of our other products that can be used by women, such as StimulantX or LeanFX, or something else. If I might make the recommendation, if you are not on any sort of birth control or other medication, you may want to look into another product to aid in your goals. I would recommend LeanFX, as a cortisol control agent can be extremely helpful to both men and women. It will help to alleviate fat stores that are often induced by our stressful day-to-day lives. If you want further info on it, we're all ears.
Once again, we thank you for giving SX a try and are sorry to hear that it didn't work out as planned. In the future, if you need help with absolutely anything at all, we're here for you. Members of this forum, as well as the AX reps and all the folks on our own forum on our website, are supportive of your goals and can help with literally any aspect of your plan that you may need.
All my best to you.

It is fantastic to see a concerned and informed sup rep who doesn't just want to pimp their product.
OP - as suggested, if you are experiencing negative side effects, or if you are concerned about your health in any way, you should stop the supplement and go and see your local doctor about it.

side effects with slimextreme
Hi! I am a female and also experienced major anxiety and headaches. I only took 1 in the morning before I worked out. It truly suppressed my appetite and I loved it for that. I have taken many supplements and usually tolerate everything fine. I don't drink caffeinated products. My bodyfat is 14%, so I was curious if maybe having low estrogen and bodyfat had something to do with side effects of this product. My goal is to cut. I got off it but wish I could tolerate it. My family was about to throw me out!LOL! Best appetite suppressant I have ever tried though.

The only thing I could guess is that working out right after taking it speeds up the digestion of the pill? therefore all of it hits you right then instead of slow digestion over the course of the day. Otherwise try eating it with a snack/small meal. Wouldn't think Estrogen has anything to do with it. My GF takes it without anxiety, tho she does get headaches. Hope it helps

How many does your GF take and when does she take hers. I do take 1 capsule at 415am every morning and workout at 5am. My anxiety and headaches didn't start until 2 weeks starting the product. And usaully happens late afternoon and for sure evenings. Is it the caffeine? Thanks for your help.

Always remember to stay 100% hydrated you guys! Its a big factor in the general wellbeing when on any supp really, but especially stimulants, CNS-based or not. Half a gallon can mean the difference between some punishing headaches, and smooth feelgood.
A gallon a day should be set as a the lower limit In addition headaches have so many factors.. stress being another major one.

She takes 1 at 6am. Sounds like you get the side effects when the pill is wearing off? Sometimes i get headaches when im 'coming down'. She gets them throughout the day. Maybe she needs to drink more water, like the rep said.

I just got my sample of this stuff 3 days ago and am hooked! I ordered some online and should get it next week.
I mainly got it just for energy due to my 12-16 hour shifts at work lately. Holy cow this stuff works great, but I have to take it super early in the morning because I had a hard time sleeping the first 2 nights.
I did notice on the first day (1 capsule in the morning), I started to get the "panicky/high stress" feeling at first (I hardly drank any water this first day). The second day, I took one again but drank a ton of water and it made a huge difference in how the stuff worked. I didn't get that panicky feeling and I was feeling pretty good all day long. The third day, I was able to sleep a lot better because I took it earlier (about 5 a.m.) and didn't get to bed until about 10:00 p.m. at night.
I just wish they didn't come in capsule form so I could cut them in half. This supplement does make you thirsty, which is good for me because it reminds me to drink my water (which I am always good at forgetting to do!)

Thanks for your review. And yes water is so key for me as well. When I don't drink enough on SX I get that dehydrated feeling. Stop back in and let us know how you are doing with SX.

this is hands down, the best appetite suppressant I have ever tried. The only side effect is the unquenchable thirst...I dont mind drinking all the water, but the running to the bathroom every 1/2 hour is kind of annoying. I'll take it though...this product..so far is a godsend for me..however...Im only on day 4....keeping my fingers crossed and my bladder full

I have been taking SX for a week (one cap every morning without taking any other complements), yes, great for the first couple days: energizing and no appetite, however, the following days are nightmare: headache, fast heart rate, sleepless, and somewhat nausea. Even worse, after I stopped it, it took me several days to recover. I consulted the customer service about all these symptoms, at first, they were nicely asked some specific conditions, but that was it, never gave me any further replies! My friend and I had similar experence. We will get things into more detail research, then decide whether or not should we report to FDA Medwatch Reporting.

Additional Side Effects
I started taking this a week ago, sleeping became an issue, but I can deal with that. Two side effects I could not were the headaches behind my eyes and trouble breathing. Has anyone else experienced this? Two of my friends were taking this as well and have the same experience.
I stopped taking it until I could do further research, I am tolerant to stimulants, took epherida (sp) and the alkoids for many years and they don?t bother me at all. I also take it at 330 - 4am and sit wide awake and exhausted at 10pm.

I've been taking SX for about 5 weeks now. I've lost 11lbs and love it. Over the years I've tried ALOT of stimulant type supps. I'm by no means an expert on anything but I do know that not every supp is for every body. (separated every & body on purpose) I don't do high levels of caffeine well but loved the original ephedra. In SX I have found the whole package (for me). I have had some bad sides due to my own issues with water consumption. I did have some wicked headaches and drymouth. I got busy at work one day & not only didn't eat but maybe had one small bottle of water all day. HUGE MISTAKE! I had severe drymouth for about 3 days before I got rehydrated enough for it to go away. I'm now drink close to a gallon a day and these sides have gone away. I also make sure my workouts are several hours from taking SX. As for anxiety I haven't had any issues there. I am, by nature, a Type A personality so I frequently want to rip peoples hearts out (lol). SX has actually made me a much more tolerant person.
For what it's worth, that's my experience so far. I can tell you that the guys from AX know their business. They're not here to sell as many bottles as they can. They do care about the experience you're having with their products and will advise anyone not to use their products if any kind of health issue arises. (I also post on the AX forum and am learning a lot)

I've had to stop taking this as i felt like i was going to have a heart attack. i've never paniced so much in my life! My chest tightened to the point where it started to hurt and i could feel my heart palpitating like crazy. Lying in bed at 2am in the morning feeling like you're actually gonna die is not the best feeling. And although the appetite supressing bit was impressive, the anxiety and frightening side effects just don't seem worth it imo.
2 days off this stuff and i'm only gradually getting back to normal...

I took the last of my 6 pill sample pack today. I take them with a caffeinated product and can say this:
I have a bunch of energy
I drink a little more water (My AVERAGE day, with no stims is 2-3 GALLONS)
My appetite wasn't supressed, but I didn't want it to be. My diet is too tasty. LOL
The only negative was yesterday I had a headache, but was lower then my normal water intake and I was out in the 100+ degree heat all day.
I am not sure if it is related to these but I did end up with this weird itch/real light rash on my shoulder and neck area. Went to the docs, they gave me some roids and said I was likely having a reaction to something. I don't think I can blame SX because it started the day I cleaned out my garage, so I came into contact with a lot of allergens I may not be real used too.
We'll see. I will try it again in a few more weeks, if similar results occur I will sue them until they are banrupt and have all there childrens schools shutdown, parents kicked out of nursing homes. Things like that.
Or accpet that I am taking something and there might be side effects, move on with my life and not give a s**t....hmmm....
How's that for a negative rep guy? LOL

New member from Denton,tx also using SX
Well a little info about me, my name is Chris I am 22 years of age, I use to be a gym rat but slowed down. I am also a supplement nerd and test rat, I enjoy using new stuff to see the effects. I got introduced to SLIM SEXTREME by a good buddy named Greg (lockfourms) if you haven't heard of his site. I will post the link later. I was looking in the market for something good, to burn some fight before I start the police academy in Jan. Greg told me about SX and so far its great. Yes like everyone else it has side effects but nothing I can't handle. Keep in mind this is my 2nd day and 1 pill in the morning, so far my side effects are cotton mouth but after drowning myself with water I am good, does help I work out in the 100 degree heat, and explosive amount of energy, plus I can focus a lot better. Bad thing id I am a ADHD person, lol but this seems to calm down a little but the burst of energy ever so often has me walking up the walks. I will keep everyone updated while I finish my bottle. So far its a go getter and works great, no complaints here.
