Don't Be That Guy Either!!!!!!
So, am I really the only one who only gets mad when some idiot annoys me by slandering and making fun of others?
What the bloody hell is wrong with you all? Ok, I give you all that there are some annoying or at least no-so-fantastic people in the gym but honestly, how many of these things really limit your work out? How many of these things really ruin your day? I absolutely hate when someone stinks, but apart from that, I don't think I care at all.
Someone is blocking my routine? I ask him to share it with me or to use something else instead if he easily can. Even if that is not possible - well, if you are as good as you make it seem, I am sure you know how to substitute any exercise in case of a broken machine, missing weight or occupied benches...you don't? Oh, read something, talk to people and DON'T BE THAT IGNORANT GUY WITHOUT IMAGINATION!
Someone wastes my time by talking too much? I politely tell him I don't have time to talk...you can't do that? Get some training on assertiveness and DON'T BE THAT GUY WHO IS UNABLE TO SAY WHAT HE WANTS!
Someone is dressed funy, doesn't work out properly, spends too much time in the gym...how the hell can that be my problem?!?!?! I do like nice clothes and expensive brands even in the gym and I have so many shorts, t-shirts and shoes that it takes me about five weeks (I work out or do other sport every day) to make a full cycle...ok, it is a down right vanity and I choose to be like that but why the hell should I demand that from others?! Go to a fashion show or posh bar if you require everyone around you to be stylish and DON'T BE THAT GUY WHO THINKS THAT PEOPLE WHO CAN'T AFFORD OR DON'T WANT TO DRESS BY THE LATEST FASHION ARE GEEKS AND INFERIORS!
And I could go on and on and on like this....
I have been working out very seriously for eleven years, at least in five or six different gyms and wherever I go, the instructors sooner or later ask me if I used to be an instructor myself because they hardly ever see anyone being that serious and precise about the routines and form of execution. I am not, I just love sports and pay attention to every aspect of body building...BUT BLOODY HELL, LIVE AND LET LIVE!!! That is what I do as long as I am left alone.
Please, DON'T BE THAT GUY who needs to pick on everyone, who needs to make fun of people and who needs to make himself feel good by ridiculizing others. Most of the flaws people have are absolutely harmless!
Cheers, good luck, good health, good mood and good shapes!
Mustafa

I see probably four or five of these guys everytime i go to the gym. Hell if any of those would be me, id have to say id be the grunter. But only when im deadlifting and squatting. I mean its almost impossible not to grun while deadlifting.
But the one that pisses me off the most is the mother****ers who take the weight off your squat rack to curl in there. I swear i had 365lbs in the squat rack, went to fill my bottle, and the ****er took off all the weights, and put a five on each side and began curling. I was ready to ****ing scream.

Wanderer...Mr. Scream
The guy who will wander around then come back to a flat bench and scream his heart out whilst executing forearm curls.

Cool article, but thank goodness, I hardly encounter people like that.
My worse experiences are
The Technician. The guy who believes he knows everything about the structure of the equipment, so he attempts to "repair" the machine to make it work better. But he ultimately breaks the machine and makes it dangerous to use.
And the farter, which is self explanatory

Your statement
hammergunz
"If more Women would spend as much time working on their ass as they do their hair and make-up the world would be a better place!"

Lesson Learned: Go fill your water bottle BEFORE you begin working in the squat rack. Problem solved.

Good article. i have to admit that i have been guilty of teh rock and roll. Never to the bench but back to the rack. If I was pressing 90lb dumbells I sometimes roll them back. Of all of them I guess I will take that one
