Skin Tightening -

I am trying to rid my skin of excess water in order to firm up skin in general but especially around the abs - wanted to know what others have done. My trainer has me reducing water intake but others have told me the way to rid the skin of excess water is to drink more of it. Now I'm really confused. Since this is the first time I've readied for competition I need some other opinions. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experiences.

HI! Found this late!

Thanks for sending me directions to your blog....the skin-tightening thing is a topic we have covered by phone....and by email since the show. Your abs show at their absolute best when you're not trying, as I've already told you. The water business is something you manipulate the last week before a show (at all other times, drink as much as you can), and we can talk about that on the phone when the time comes. Much of the "extra skin" us Masters experience is due to the loss of elasticity as we age....when one loses a significnt amount of weight in a relatively short time, the skin cannot adjust fast enough. One thing you can do..tho temporary, is to rub on Prep-H gel (not the cream)..also works on crow's feet, etc. Anyway, quit worrying about that....you put on a gorgeous presentation. If you want/need a few tweaks before Provs...we can do that. L.K.
