Essay
My husband found BodyBuilding.com and started reading it, He has always followed body building, and knew we both was getting weaker with age/lifestyle. When he found the 2009 MuscleTech Transformation contest he was truly inspired. And got me motivated to get back into being active and Healthy and STRONG. To my embarrassment my body fat was measured at 38 percent to start, I weighed 207lbs. But the support on the Bodybuilding.com forums helped me stay on track and answered questions and gave me current up to date information about supplements and showed me how to get fit, build muscles. Ordering from the website could not be easier, with lightning fast shipping, and friendly staff to answer my questions. I used MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Hardcore, 4 Lbs., Cookies & Cream for my protien source. Wow, It tasted great, I looked forward to drinking my shakes, and it gave my body what it needed to grow muscles in the first part of my contest prep. I had to do two things, LOSE fat while gaining muscle. I did that,I am stronger and when I am at goal my new muscles will really pop, but for now, I know they are there. I am on my way to becoming really fit, I did loose 35lbs down to 172. My body fat went from 38 to 30% I am not sure how it works, but the stats on My Bodyspace tells me that loss is 21.1 percent change, thanks Bodyspace You really help me keep motivated. My overall Transformation goal is to be under 20% bodyfat. I am sure I will get there, because i am doing it healthily and with lots of muscles just like I should, like the advice from bodybuilding.com says to.

MuscleTech Essay
Check out my pictures in my progress pictures section of my profile
Essay:
From February 6, 2009 to May 4, 2009, it might have been the most hellacious time of my life but it was completely worth it. I did significantly change my body into a better physique but what changed more was everything else in my life. For example, I first saw exercising as boring, repetitive, and unenjoyable. But as days progressed into the contest, I learned to continuously change my workouts so they were never the same and working out is actually fun now. My confidence also grew substantially. I was hesitant of entering this contest even before it started because I doubted myself if I had the determination and motivation to fully transform my body. Now, I feel like I can start any goal without any doubt in my mind if I can finish it or not.
I am in the best shape of my life and will continue to work towards my goal of being like bodybuilding legend Bob Cicherillo. From watching his posing videos on Youtube to his competition shows, I can see his dedication to the sport of bodybuilding. This contest has helped me realize my dream of being a bodybuilder is becoming reality. Bodyspace and MuscleTech have truly helped me discover that I am more capable than I thought. I am already a winner even if I did not win this contest because of everything I gained and nothing I lost. This contest was about being in better shape and I have succeeded.

Essay
I almost did not complete my entry. Back in January I was feeling skinny and out of shape. I play competitive rugby and the end of my fall season had left me disheartened; at 121lbs and 5'1/2" I am not an imposing opponent in a contact sport. So when I saw the MuscleTech body transformation contest on Bodyspace.com I entered in the hopes that a new fitness goal would help me beat the post season blues.
After my first week using MuscleTech, Nitro-Tech Hardcore I noticed that I had more energy for my workouts and I was recovering from my lifting faster. I was really excited to be ready to hit the gym everyday after work and I stopped having to miss sessions because I was too tired to workout. In March I got on the scale and noticed I actually hit 125lbs. I felt the difference in spring rugby too, though I still didn't look very intimidating, I was stronger and more powerful that's for sure!
But why wasn't I going to enter? Well at the beginning of march I got up to 127lbs with the help of MuscleTech's Nitro-Tech Hardcore. This was great for me and my athletic pursuits but I figured that because I had not been focusing on losing weight that all of this great improvement could not possibly show. I kept focusing on my workouts and drinking my yummy shakes. Then last minute I decided why not complete my entry. AND WOW I had no idea what difference Nitro-Tech Hardcore had made in my physique until I looked at the pictures! Thanks MuscleTech!!!!!!! I LOVE MY MUSCLES!!!!!!! (P.S. 6lbs heavier and my clothes still fit perfect!)

My essay
With the contest over, I now get to look back and reflect. This is the first time I've ever had a definite date and goal to look forward to. It gave me extra motivation, especially on days when I really wasn't feeling like lifting. But now weight lifting has become a habit, a regular routine. It even serves as a great stress release. An now it's something I really look forward to week in and week out.
With the help of Muscletech products, I have made a definite improvement. Of course there is still a lot of progress to be made. But with the help of Muscletech and continued determination I know I can get there. I've tried to workout before and have never made any real progress. And now with a simple contest, I feel I've come a long way in just a few short weeks. I can't wait to see what the future holds.
My pics are all posted on my Bodyspace page.

My Amazing Adventure of Lifetime!
I think the MuscleTech Transformation Challenge was a great opportunity and a gratifying experience. Through this I learned about discipline and how to change my body. This was a test of many different things, including sacrafice and willingness to go beyond my limitations. I decided to just "make it happen". It took alot of hard work and in believing in myself to accomplish my goals. Part of my motivation was in meeting Jay Cutler, two time Mr. Olympia. I learned that nothing is impossible. It is very motivational to see yourself before and after and say, "wow, that's me now!". It's exciting to see the transformation. Although the contest is now over, I hope to stay motivated in reaching my goal of either becoming a pro-body builder, or pro-wrestler.
Thank you MuscleTech and Bodybuilding.com!

MuscleTech Essay & Pictures
If you would have asked me a little over 3yrs ago if I would enter a contest like the MuscleTech Challenge, I would have said you were crazy. In November of 2004 I fell off of a roof 9ft, head first onto a deck.
I had herniated 2 discs in my cervical spine, 2 in my thoracic spine & fractured 2 vertebras. I damaged the part of my brain that controls vision leaving me legally blind in my right eye with drastic vision changes in my left.
I was told never to lift weights again.
May 5, 2008 I had a bike accident that literally scalped me & left me with 2 more fractured vertebras, a broken right wrist & elbow. Over the summer I had gained a substantial amount of weight.
Against the Doc?s advice I started to train again. November 2008, progress was painful & very slow. February 2009, I saw the ad for the MuscleTech challenge. With the encouragement of my wonderful Wife & kids, I decided to try.
I purchased some Nano Vapor, Halo & went to work. While I haven?t reached the place where I want to be, I?ve come a lot further than I even thought I would a year ago.
I want to say thanks to bodybuilding.com & MuscleTech for giving me the motivation to try again.
While I may not have finished as strongly as I wanted to, I?ve finally started & finished something for the first time in a really long time.
Thank you so much.
Sincerely,
Jim Fowler

?The best situation is your own situation? (My Muscle Tech Experience)
I started out behind the fence and now I?m leaving out a Shining Prince. Falling short some weeks due to life situations then coming back and hitting the iron like Rocky in the final round. Mass increase, muscle reconfiguration, thighs popping out the seams, replacing body fat with lean rock solid muscle has sky-rocketed my esteem. I came in it for the deep striations, slamming dumbbells until they keep vibratin?, the love of soreness that makes me sleep side ways and? I did for the balanced figure with no variations and the polished rock muscles instead bones, hairy places, but that?s the past.
Not second guessing my competition, worked miracles on a low budget, and still left a deep impression on my opposition. Started as a mustard seed, now I?m a radiant mustard tree with my muscle poking through my wife beater, yelling ?Hey, LOOK AT ME!? Bench presses, leg extensions, deadlifts, suicides? Triple Chocolate NitroTech protein, 7 days of Hydrazide. Five days on increases definition as flesh grows. I got married to the iron, gym shorts is my dress code. I did for the confidence boost; I did for the bragging rights. I did for my own personal vanity so I could be as beautiful as Gladys Knight. We all do it because deep down in our spirits we know it's something unaverage in all of us. From loser to role models? started out behind the fence and now I?m leaving out a Shining Prince. That?s my MuscleTech experience!

Transformation Essay
Last January I looked into the mirror and saw I desperately needed help making a change. The holiday season was not kind to my body but I couldn't find the motivation and energy I once had to get off the couch and away from the television. I used to love going with my friends and doing some sort of exercise. But ever since I moved away they were slowly replaced by lounging around. Then I saw the MuscleTech Transformation challenge and decided that I couldn't pass it up. Well, its been almost 16 weeks and I'm still going strong and have found the motivation within to push myself in the gym to limits I've never experienced. MuscleTech products like Hydroxycut, Gakic, Leukic, and Nitro-Tech made it easier than I could have ever expected as I chopped my body fat down to single digits and have melted away 45lbs of weight that previously held me glued to couch. I'm full of energy at work, my self esteem is at an all time high, and I wake up in the morning ready to conquer every day. I owe it all to MuscleTech's transformation challenge and their products that helped me along the way.
