seriously guys

If you posted your finals or essay on or around the May 5, it looks like it got deleted when they were working on the website. Check and make sure your stuff is up. It would be heartbreaking to have something like this DQ you. Only 11+ hours left to post.

Thumbs up Transformation - Final Pics & Essay

Essay:

This transformation contest has made me believe I belong in the sport & lifestyle of bodybuilding. The biggest change for me in this contest is that it has showed me that I have a passion for bodybuilding and I can really help change and transform others that are in need too. Here are some amazing results that I am proud to say are a result from my transformation contest: About 1 month into the contest, my girlfriend?s father started dieting & exercising properly and since has lost 40 pounds! Since the start of April, my sister has lost 13 pounds and stopped smoking. Two months ago my brother finally joined the gym. These fantastic, life changing examples are just the beginning and this contest has showed me that I can change lives too.

My transformation has a funny beginning. Only after a few weeks of solid dedication, my girlfriend surprises me with 1-week long cruise tickets for Mar. 21-28. As much as I wanted to reschedule, I figured it?s a challenge? How to eat like a bodybuilder on a cruise! I used NitroTech to help put on some muscle up to the cruise, and Hydroxycut & Hydrazide to cut up for my final 6 weeks when I returned. These past 4 months have been one of the best times in my life. I?ve drastically changed other lives in a positive direction, broken all past plateaus for myself, and am simply enjoying life. Looking forward to competing in 2010!

Thank you Bodybuilding.com & MuscleTech,
Alex Patterson

Essay

I'd like to start out by saying that this is an awesome contest MuscleTech has put on for the last two years. For me, it's not just for the prize. It's about competing against people that you don't know what they're capable of, and pushing yourself the hardest you can. In the end, it's a whole new lifestyle you gain.

This contest is all about hard work and complete dedication to the goals you want to achieve. The lifestyle transformation isn't for everyone. "If it were easy, everyone would do it."

It's difficult raising four kids, trying to find the time to be a good parent, and finding time to be dedicated to this contest. I just want my kids to be proud of me, and see me as a good role model for the whole family.

I hope everyone who started and finished this contest can be proud of the goals they accomplished no matter what the reason was.

This contest transformed my life by giving me a new found confidence! I know now, I can achieve any goal I set my mind to!

I want to throw out a big thanks to MuscleTech for motivating people to make a positive change in their lives in these tough times we're having.

Thanks,
Kevin Riley

The past 4 months have been one of the best times in my life. I wish I would have been involved in more of the discussion here on the boards. I sure did read the board throughout and everyone has been very motivating. Everyone has had some amazing transformations! Thank you all.

Lost 30 pounds and was still able to build some muscle mass! More on bodyspace!

Final Essay

You never really have a true idea how others see you until you see a picture of yourself. Mirrors play tricks on your eyes and make you think to yourself, ?Hey, I don?t look that bad.? Then someone snaps a picture and reality slaps you across the face. That happened to me 18 months ago. I saw a picture of myself and I was totally disgusted. I had never been that big in my life. I got the courage to step on the scale and stared at the numbers 303. Right then, I made a resolution to myself that I would never again see those numbers or another picture of myself looking so horrible. Over the next year I exercised and dieted like a man possessed. I would not allow myself to cheat or fall off. I kept that picture with me and every time my buddies would waive a Whopper or chili dog under my nose to tempt me, I would look at that picture and remind myself that I was not going to ruin my progress. When I saw the contest, I knew it was for me. I had already lost all the fat, now I was ready to take the next step and start gaining muscle. Throughout this transformation I felt that I found my calling. I realized that I want to be a personal trainer and help others find the thin person inside themselves and so I have started classes to become a certified personal trainer.

Final essay and pics

Thank you Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com! I am so happy because I am in the best shape of my life! Because of you I am now something I could only dream about before. I felt like there was some unbreakable code in the elite fitness crowd no normal human could solve. Tidbits of advice here and there in fitness mags just leaves the average Joe like me running in circles. BB.com taught me SO MUCH! From basic proper nutrition to advanced carb cycling. Exercises, routines, programs, form, psychology, motivation, supplementation, EVERYTHING! Now armed with the knowledge, I add Muscletech sups to the arsenal and I'm a freakin' soldier raging war on the weights, and I will forcefully take what is entitled to me.....a ripped, beautiful, and healthy body.
To give you a little perspective.... A year ago I drank (I'm talkin' Jim Beam and beer) almost every day. I was unhappy with my luck in life and drowned my troubles with a good buzz. I thought I ate pretty good because I'm a vegetarian. That just meant more bread and chips and carbs and carbs and carbs. I struggled with a 15 year tobacco addiction. I was heading downhill fast! Then Muscletech was recommended to me by my sister's boyfriend. He's in the National Guard and he's huge so I listen. I banded together with my sister and girlfriend to change our lives for the better. Now I don't drink (except a gallon of water a day), I quit tobacco at the start of the contest, I eat like an athlete, and were all three ripped now! Life is fun now. We go rock climbing, biking, hiking, and spend time thinking up new healthy delicious meals. All our friends are super jealous and I am excited to help them and anyone else I can! It would be an honor and a dream come true to represent Muscletech. So get your hands on me while you can......I'm just getting started ; )

Talking Essay

Looks like it got lost with my pic post

My challenge began 20 years ago. I was unhappy and out of shape and did not like what I saw in the mirror. People oftentimes referred to me as the ?skinny? guy, which would bring me down. For two decades, I tried and failed many times to gain weight! I thought it was a hopeless cause, and I began to even doubt that I could achieve the body of my dreams.

One day I stumbled across The MuscleTech! Transformation Contest
presented by BodySpace! I became excited again and hungry for a lasting change. I thought that this was just what I needed to get into shape. It seemed easier than any other attempt I had made before. Not only did I have the right weight-lifting techniques, but now I also had the right supplement to give me the extra pump that was missing for all those years.

I am 42 years old and I am in the best shape of my life! I am so happy with what I have accomplished, and I owe it to MuscleTech! and their great products that helped me achieve my dream body! I now walk proudly with my shirt off and I do not worry about anyone calling me the ?skinny? guy. I am now an inspiration to others to help them achieve their own goals. This challenge not only changed me physically, but it also renewed my mind and spirit!

Muscletech contest essay.

It was New Years Eve 2008 and my friends and I were going around discussing our "new year resolutions" when it was my turn, i said I had found the "Muscletech contest" on line and I was going to do it. Just saying the words out loud and making a commitment was rewarding, but now 16 weeks later finishing the contest is one of the most amazing feelings. Making yourself accountable for every decision you make, every bite you put in your mouth, everyday you decide to go or not to go to the gym. It was time to take responsibility for myself and my actions. It was time for me to tell myself everyday "no more excuses!".

With the support of my husband I made it through the detication of diet and training. With the support of everyone on Bodyspace I knew I always had someone to turn to or 10 answers to my 1 question. With the support of Muscletech supplements I knew if I did what the label said I wouldn't have to worry about my body not getting what it needs. The products sit on my countertop and are part of my everyday diet.

The challenge was more mental for me. Taking my pictures in a bathing suit and then posting it on the internet was so difficult, but I did it. This is just the beginning for me. When your mind is in the right place, its amazing what your body can do.

Final Essay and Pic Comparison

Perfect timing is the best way to describe Muscle Tech's 2nd Annual Transformation Contest.

I have always heard that there is a time of your life where your metabolism will slow down and you will have to watch what you eat. I am not considered over weight or unhealthy, but for me not to be under 10% body fat definitely hit a soft spot for me. My workout programs and strength level has always been great, but I lacked to fine tune my nutrition program and supplementation. In turn I peaked to the highest body fat % of my life at 15.8%.

I want to enter into the third decade of my life with a lifestyle I can sustain and put together a strength and conditioning, nutrition and supplemental program for the year. I was reading through a fitness magazine and saw the contest. I figured that I will go ahead and enter, since I was already starting my own program. The program was detailed in the aspects of strength and conditioning, nutrition and supplementation. This contest has helped guide me to gain the results that I currently am at. I started the contest at 156lbs-15.8% body fat and finished at 143.7lbs-8.8% body fat.

Big thanks to Muscle Tech to provide a motivational tool with the contest. I know I can sustain this current program and nutrition program and I am looking forward to what the 30's has in store for me!

THANKS MUSCLE TECH!

Essay

When I found out about this competition, I was in the worst shape I probably had ever been in. I went to the gym, maybe once or twice/week, and even then, my workouts were lazy and unmotivated. I was working two jobs, and living a pretty busy social life as well, and because of that, my fitness took a backseat. Then I saw an advertisement on bodyspace about this contest and it was all the motivation I needed to get back into the gym and back to the lifestyle I used to live.

I did this contest not for the money or the recognition, however that would be very nice, I did it so that I had a fitness goal and something to motivate me to get into the gym and make myself look and feel better every day, no matter what excuses I would try to come up with.

This contest not only helped my physical health, but my mental health as well. I just moved to a new city and I am more confident when I am meeting new people. I am more productive and energetic at work, and my overall happiness has gone through the roof.

There are a lot of people who deserve to win this contest, including me, but I am just happy I took advantage of this opportunity to make my life better. Even if I don?t win this contest, I feel like I?ve won a lot already!

My last 4 pictures from May 3, 2009

Hey Bodyspace Peoples,

I have these last 4 after pictures in addition the ones I posted as my official pictures for the contest. I thought I had my conditioning more dialed in on this day may 3rd as oppose to the ones I posted May 4th , but the shadows killed it for me.

Sincerely,
Daniel Kasimow

Essay and Pics

I started my transformation February 11th, 2009 and ended it on May 6th 2009. In 12 weeks I lost 29lbs of fat. I used NaNo Vapor and NitroTech Hardcore. I did 2 cardio sessions a day. The first session was done midday for 60 minutes at moderate intensity. Then second session was in the evenings for 30 minutes and was HIIT cardio. I did cardio 7 days a week and trained with weights 5 times a week. My diet consisted of 7 meals a day spaced every 2 to 3 hours. My daily macronutrients were about 275g of protein, 145g of carbohydrates and about 40g of fat. This transformation was something I was very passionate about. I have been interested in how to add muscle, burn fat and live a healthier lifestyle for the last 10 years. This year I wanted to really drop my bodyfat and get shredded. After seeing all the ads and the great results people were getting with MuscleTech products I thought, what do I have to lose? I decided to try NaNo Vapor and Nitro Tech Hardcore and I?m hooked. NaNo Vapor is an amazing product it helped keep my energy and spirits up even on a low calorie diet and Nitro Tech helped preserve my muscle tissue. This is the best shape I have ever been in and your products helped make it possible. Thank you for all of your hard work and research at MuscleTech.

Final Essay

Having to depend on steroids - $300 - $800
Cutting from an off-season bulk - $200 - $300
Letting yourself go in preparation for this contest - $250

Stumbling upon this contest by accident and pouring everything you have into it and genuinely making a physical, emotional, and lifestyle transformation - PRICELESS!!!

I happened to stumble into this contest and it was just what I needed to get my life together. From nothing to something, its everyone's dream whether in life or the gym. For me it was both, a dream that quickly became reality. This contest got me in the gym, Nano Vapor gave me the drive and pump to give it my all everyday, and halo helped me recover and kept me growing pain free. I have injuries and a busy life too, everyone has their story but that is not what matters here. Getting in the gym, valuing your health, and pushing beyond your limits to build confidence and integrity is what this is all about. I am here to prove that with hard work and dedication, you can honestly and naturally make a positive change. My life has changed for the better and I have transformed into a new person, emotionally and physically. Thank you Muscle-Tech for a job well done!!

12 Weeks to a new life

Before this contest I had never even dreamed of attempting to compete in a bodybuilding competition, let alone any type of competition! I was never the athletic type throughout my life, not a competitor, or one with experience in these fields. BodyBuilding.com guiding me through this transformation with articles, and MuscleTech supplements enabled my body to truly grow and become new in these 12 weeks. Using Cell-Tech, IntraVol, and Hydroxycut I was able to lose fat and gain alarming amounts of muscle because MuscleTech made it possible!

I lost a total of 33 pounds, starting from 200 and getting to 167. However my strength increased leaps and bounds, and I packed on pounds of muscle in the process. At a young age of 19 I felt a need to change my body for the future and anything else I want in life is now possible. My dad lost 25 pounds when I went home for spring break because of my influence, and now I am training my mother in fitness. This is not only a transformation of my life and body, but also for all of my family around me! I will continue to become stronger and bigger with the usage of MuscleTech supplements because they work! Early mornings of cardio, eating strict diets, and lifting like there was no tomorrow enabled me to reach new levels. With MuscleTech I WILL reach my physical potential! How do you put a new life into words? Thank you MuscleTech and BodyBuilding.com!
