Yes, if you work out on M-W-F, the other four days are considered rest days.

Good luck and enjoy yourself.

the answer to the question you ask is yes.........four days rest. I think you are asking if you should rest four day........im not exactly sure what you are wanting to know.

Incase you are wondering how many days to rest it depends on how long you've been training, your diet, sleep habbit, what type workout your doing...fullbody or split and what your goals are not to mention how intense you train.

A good rule of thumb here is .........fullbody workouts = two to three days a week.......split workouts = three to five days a week in gym.

Off the top of my head here is an example of a split...mon chest/tri....tue legs.....wed off........thur shoulders/traps........fri off.......sat back/bis.........sun off.......etc

one more.....this one may be better if you have'nt trained very long.......mon chest/shoulder/tri........tue off........wed legs..........thur off..........fri.....back/traps/bis.....sat and sun off........

you can sit down a figure out a split that works for you.....or you can do a search on here that will bring up more info than you want to read........lol....there are tons of them.
