this thread is great! thanks for all the pics everyone posted! it inspired me to believe that i can actually do it. i'm currently 145lbs 5'10 and i just started getting my lazyass up and doing something about it. i'd post a before picture but, no point since there is no after yet. haha. i'll post pics after 3months or so. thanks again!

New here - wanted to share my transformation...
I started out last October, my weight was about 69kg (about 152lbs).
these photos were taken around that time:
this is from february:
These photos were taken couple of weeks ago, weight 83kg (about 183lbs)
this was taken today:
More pics are on my bodyspace  . right now I'm starting to cut the extra fat that was gained during this process, and hopefully by july I'll start gaining more muscle (LEAN muscle this time), hopefully reaching 100kg (220lbs).

Took about 5 months to drop to 175....but now im up to 200 from lifting

Well, this is my change in 8 months. Atleast I'm very happy about it =D
But what do you think, is this a good increase in 8 months? How fast did you guys gain weight when you started lifting?

Wow that's impressive...Do you think I can keep gaining about 2 pounds (1 kg) a month for a long time?
If I could just do that I'd be really satisfied in maybe 2 more years, I'm a patient guy

Why not? You can gain more than that... Eat above your maintenance and lift hard... I gained around 10lb of muslces in appx one month..

in the beginning muscle gains happens fast...
and if you use steroids it will go even faster ^^
