cortisol after 30 minutes?

I hear that cortisol(aging hormone, right?) comes out after 30 minutes of continuous aerobic. True? Should I stop doing aerobic after 30 minutes? I certainly don't want to boost cortisol by going over, but I feel 30 minutes a day is not good enough for me, to stay in shape, or to lose fat.
Right now I am running only 30 minutes everyday. I am thinking of going to the gym twice once in the morning, and once in the evening(the day I don't do the anabolic, that is) to fill up one hour. But it's not really feasible.
And if cortisol does come out, what about the marathon runners?
Any comment to "educate" me, appreciated.

Cortisol is a stress hormone.

The transient release of cortisol provides for a larger opportunity for activity than most individuals believe. Simply, it's fine to run over thirty minutes.
