Help on Abs!
Hi guys.
Just joined and would like to have some advice on a client of mine.
She is 37 and in good shape. Has a small bit of extra fat in the abs (lower abs).
She has two kids, youngest about 8 years.
She trains three times a week with me. We do a combination of cardio and weights during her one hour sessions.
She is struggling to get rid of that last bit of flab around the waist.
I really don't know what to do more than what we are already doing.
Any ideas on what I should do during sessions?
More abs, more cardio.....

Fat loss. Shes gotta do more or cut back in calories. That is generally done in the kitchen.

Is it actually fat, water, or loose skin? Does she have any other fat on her body, other than her abs?

Does she do anything outside of the gym, Or just 3 days a week with you? Whats her diet consist of? How often do you change up her workout, or is it usually the same? What type of cardio is she doing and for how long?

It's probably just loose skin. Especially with older clients, don't be quick to think everything's fat, and especially after said client might've lost a lot of weight in recent time.

She is in general very skinny, I am sure its just a combination of a little fat and then skin (after two babies).
Her eating seems to be ok, she is even considering going on Weigh Less or Weight Watchers.
She is totally obsessed with getting rid of this last bit of flab.

there really isnt enough information here for us to tell you what to do next...we dont know her nutrition, the intensity in which you train her, which training styles you use ("weights and cardio" is about as broad as it gets).
