Final essay
I began lifting in college, and I established a goal to get into contest shape by age 30. However, work, marriage, and babies altered my priorities. Exhaustion caused me to let myself go when my babies were young. Now, at age 32, the advertisement for the competition motivated me to reach that goal, just a little late. Thank you Muscletech and Bodybuilding.com for putting on this contest and helping me get motivated to reach my goals.
With my work, a working wife, a three year old son, and an 18 month old daughter, finding time to train is tough. I will not take that time from them, so I lift in the morning at 4am. The Nanovapor has helped me get the blood flowing on those cold January mornings in my unfinished basement gym. I?ve tried most other pre-workout drinks, and this one tastes the best, and is effective for me with one dose. I come from an obese family with big appetites, so the Hydroxycut Hardcore was a big part of controlling my food intake. I had to stop running halfway through because of a torn meniscus in my left knee. I?m having surgery after the competition ends. I also deal with shoulder bursitis, tennis elbow, triceps tendonitis, and I suffered from food poisoning twice during my training for this contest. My contest preparation was difficult, as it should be, but I?m really proud of what I have accomplished. I feel great, and my wife loves how I look.

Final Essay
I have been fat my whole life until early 20's when I decide to do something about it. After losing more than 70 pounds of fat, I was left with extra skin that would not go away. Although I looked fit, I was soft and hated my stomach.
When I read about the contest, it motivated me to push it to the max and finally get the body that I always dreamed of. I thought I could never get it done (within the time frame) after battling a severe groin pull (playing hockey) which deprived me from working out abs and doing cardio for the first two months. Nevertheless, I worked out harder than when I played College football, but more importantly, I worked out and ate smarter than ever before. Knowledge is power, I feel very powerful after reading hundreds of articles on this bodybuilding.com. Thanks to Muscletech's Nano Vapor, Halo and Nitro Tech for giving the boost and supplements that I needed to achieve my goal. This contest made me fall in love all over again with weightlifting and staying fit. I can finally say that I am proud of every part of my body. My confidence skyrocketed, as I walk in the gym with my bodybuilding.com string bag and people ask me if I?m a bodybuilder!!
Thank you!

The 2nd Annual Muscletech $50,000 Transaformation Contest
This year I have decided to reach for new heights in starting my life long dream and body transformation. When I discovered an interest in taking my body to different levels was when Big Lou and Arnold ruled the body building world. I saw these massive sized bodies take over the professional athlete scene, magazines, and television. Then I discovered that I can take my body to build extreme muscle capacity; muscles ripped from head to toe. So I started doing push-ups, sit-ups and started running around my neighbor hood. By the time I started high school, my childhood friends was mesmerized on how I changed over the summer, my abdominals had showed definition into a six pack, my triceps grew 2 inches in size, and my chest had formed some pectorals muscles. All through high school I participated in athletic teams more than school just to work out with free weights, because my mother died while in grade school. My brother and I were shipped off to my grand ma and of course she was on fixed income and could contribute to our extra curricular activities. Lifting weights kept me motivated in all aspects of life. When I face dilemmas in life, when I face disappointments, and even when I face triumphs my weight lifting has always been my psychological treatments. When I admire the transformation of my muscles, weight lifting never leaves me feeling like I have not achieved a good life.

Essay:
I've never been extremely obese, but I have struggled with my weight my entire life. A fit body does not come naturally to me. I have to work HARD at it. I don't know if this is a pro or a con. I guess the end results are that much more rewarding because I know how much I put into it. My weight has been like a rollercoaster since I was in middle school. I went from being "the fat girl" to having an eating disorder and being "the skinny girl". Then between high school and now, it's been up and it's been down. Right before I started this transformation contest, I had attempted my first lean bulk. Wow was that hard. For a girl that loves her food, a clean bulk is near impossible. I ended the "bulk" looking like a fat girl who had never ever been to the gym in her life. I was truly disgusted. I decided I had to change the way I thought of things. Weighlifting for me is a lifestyle. Eating healthy is a lifestyle. I have learned to love the things that keep me fit, healthy, and happy. I can change just about any recipe to make it fit my macros. I am a total sweets junkie, so when craving something sweet, I used MuscleTech Nitro-Tech Hardcore (strawberry). This allowed me to feel like I was eating something not healthy for me, but it fit perfectly in my macros. I am now on my way to the stage. I have a new outlook on life. I know that life isn't always fair and the unexpected will happen. Believe me I struggled with my own issues throughout this whole transformation. But it's your choice. Do you use those problems that arise to get you down, or do you use them to fuel the fire.... the fire that's helping you achieve a healthier, longer, and happier life!

"""""to all of you"""
I just like to express my "THANK YOU" to each and everyone of you,
for your advise, input and sarcasm LOL (ones in a while :-) )
You all gave me as well as others feed back to learn and change.
God Bless you all on your continues life, do not forget please,
HOW MUCH WORK this took to LOOK the way you are now :-)
Why let it go to waist, also please remember letting the body gain weight
and then loose weight, there will be a point your body, will not act on what you
doing and there will be failure of body parts, most of you are young yet,
so please if you want to look like MR. "Old Man skinny" keep it up.
So you may take this advise you may not, but I wish you all the best and God Bless.
God Bless especially our troops.
Remember YOU are ALL Winners no matter what :-)

Final Essay: I Have Already Won
Initially, like most contestants, I entered with aspirations of what I would do with twenty-five thousand dollars. I thought, "All I need to do is fill out a contest form, take some pictures with a newspaper and oh ya, get into shape". I had wanted to do that anyway. Summer was right around the corner so I might as well drop ten or fifteen pounds, show off my rock hard ripped abs and win some money.
Seeing me through discriminating eyes of the camera was a harsh taste of reality. Several weeks passed by before I realized that my simple plan was flawed. I counselled with my training partner who confirmed that I was doing all of the right things. He told me to, "Just do the work". It was the plain and simple truth.
As weeks went by as I buckled down and got myself into a rhythm of diet, supplements, and exercise. When I felt moments of weakness I always came back to Bodyspace for visual inspiration and education. By April, friends were noticing my dramatic changes. I had become more confident and I enjoy talking with people a little bit more.
It took 31 pounds to discover my potential. Now that I have completed the contest, nevertheless the contest outcome, I know that I have already won. Beyond this competition I will continue to use the newly acquired education to continue on my fitness journey and inspire my friends along the way.

Yeah baby
I'll post my pics tomorrow. I hope that all those who stuck with it and dedicated themselves keep going, whether you win this contest or not. Especially everyone who started off fat boys/girls like me. Let's make this a permanent lifestyle change. Thanks to all the positive posters who never quit or allowed others to quit. I didn't post much but I was always checkin in on the board. Good luck to everyone.

Final essay for muscle tech contest
When Muscle Tech came out with their 2nd Annual Contest, I absolutely set my sights on the same thing that everyone else who entered did. To win, and to change how I looked and felt, while doing something positive for my future. I've always wanted to "get big" and I've read every muscle magazine out there. I put Muscle Tech to the test, to see if I could get as big as I'd dreamed about.
Most of the people in this contest are trying to lose weight, and keep it off! There have been some amazing transformations, and I give props to those who have accomplished their goals, or who are close to hitting their mark.
FOR ME, I'm trying to do the exact opposite, and gain weight! Like so many others in the contest, I've spent countless time in front of the mirror, seeing what I needed to do to make myself look like the picture that I have in my head!
I thank Muslce Tech for having such a huge positive boost in the way I feel about myself! Muscle Tech puts out some great products, and I was very impressed with the changes that I made. Thanks Muslce Tech for the help, and for putting out products that can be trusted. I started at 169 lbs, and am now 184-185lbs.
If you are willing to work hard and do what most people won't, you can become what everyone else wishes they were.

Thanks for respecting your "elders." I'm just putting on the finishing touches, so the old but not old-looking physique will be up and on display in a couple of days.

My official Essay
How The 2nd Annual MuscleTech $50,000 Transformation Contest Presented By BodySpace changed my life
Before this contest i was always very into bodybuilding. I loved the challenge and developed a passion for it. I would buy into a lot of hype and non proven products. I never would be strict with my diet my workouts were never as intense as they were after i tried Muscletechs products gave me a whole new attitude towards lifting. During my transformation i chose to take nitrotech powder, nitotech bars and myoshock. The bars and powders were clean tasting and low in carbs and were great as meals or snacks. The myoshock was my difference maker, giving me a mental buzz, almost painful muscle pumps. and it kept my strength in check while my calories and carbs were pushed to limits i have never pushed them. Before this contest i was happy with the way i was and just accepted my body . Now after only 15 weeks i realize what true dedication, diet, exercise and Muscletech products can do to my life and body. I was heavy and always tired im now ripped and always moving. This contest made me change my whole life i now plan on going to school to become a part of the wonderful world of bodybuilding. I will eventually step on a stage and give it my best and i know muscletech will be my difference maker once again. Winning would be nice but just knowing what i have done is good enough for me as i know i have given this transformation everything i have and even a little more. I want to thank Muscletech and Bodyspace for the chance to transform my body and mind because i have accomplished what i have set out to do.

Final Essay- Tranformation Photos
As a young man big muscles are the goal, rock hard abs and biceps to match. Unfortunately for me, genetics had a different idea. The struggle to keep weight on made bulking up a farfetched wish. I felt blessed to be fit, but I felt small.
Since the scrawny age of 16, I have started and stopped countless "Get Bigger" training plans. My efforts always ended with the same result, lean muscle and no bulk. At age 31 my life took a major change. For our family to thrive I quit my job to take care of our young sons. Being a stay at home dad I often thought, "What can I do from here to make me better?" I embarked on a lifestyle transformation. Bodybuilding.com became my website of choice for all things I needed to learn as a student of body building. This competition prompted me to take a before photo, tracking the progress of my growth.
Finally I have found a workout routine that I am fully dedicated to. I work out 6 days a week, sweating in my living room while taking care of my 3 and 1 year old sons. MuscleTech offers the supplements which aide in my progress. The results are nothing short of amazing. When I look back at photos of myself I cannot believe the transformation. I am still far from my ideal goal, but through this competition and the supplements that I purchased I am proud of the results.
