Fast food has always been the easiest and quickest thing to eat so that?s where I was eating at least one meal a day. Since being in this challenge, my views on eating have changed, I still enjoy eating out but now I pay much more attention to what I eat and what is in it. I?m ashamed to say I was in carb denial, I only thought you could find them in bread or pasta, not in juice and fruit! Now since beginning this challenge I enjoy cooking at home. I make dinner for my family once a week and it has really inspired my friends and family to eat better. I realize now how I was wasting my time and energy working out with the way I had been eating. Now, twelve weeks and 15 pounds later, my body is in the shape I never thought was possible and I wouldn?t have done it without the help and support of my boyfriend, speca1k, the energy from Hydroxycut Max! and the opportunity from Bodybuilding.com.

Well, here I am 17 weeks later and in the best shape of my life since I don?t know, maybe 9th grade right after I quit dancing? Here is my story of transformation of my body and my self-confidence?
My name is Melissa Baldwin; I am a 32-year-old stay home mom, and business owner. I have always loved to stay active but I realized after the birth of my daughter and the entrance into my 30?s that I would need more than just eating healthy and day-to-day exercise. My husband found this challenge for me and right away I was on it. I began taking Hydroxycut and immediately was thrilled with my energy level and motivation to get to the gym 5/6 days a week, while continuing to eat a clean diet. I increased my weight training, as I was always more of a cardio girl. I went from 138 lbs. to 125 lbs, added a lot of muscle. I do believe that my ultimate transformation was the addition of the Hydroxycut to my daily life. I am so thankful for the goal that I have accomplished and would love to participate in more contests like this. Thank you for creating this to give people the opportunity to achieve the goals of health and happiness.

Finally finished hydroxycut challenge
Well, I decided to take the plunge-Hydroxycut Plunge-that is. To be honest, I've always wanted to do a contest like this, but never felt confident enough to do it. Yes, I've had body confidence issues, but for me I didn't want to make this a "vain" thing. I'm tired of all the "victim" stories. I decided to do this contest to show my kids what hard work, perseverance, and determination can do for a person and see how much I could change the look of my body. I've never dieted "healthy". This time, everything I've eaten has been extremely healthy. I feel awesome and I hope I've set a positive example for my 3 children and others. They've heard me talk the talk, now they've seen me walk the walk. They all, including my husband, have been really encouraging. Also, a bible verse near and dear to me during this challenge has been Romans 5:34, "We also rejoice in our sufferings, because we know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character, and character, hope." I know I've learned a lot about self-discipline and myself during this challenge. Eating right, healthy living and a positive attitude are a plus I've gained. No matter the outcome, I give all the glory to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ for seeing me through and allowing me to learn a bit about myself in the process.

Hydroxycut Max Transformation
I've always been a big, sturdy girl....big bones, as some would say. After having two children and taking on the "rush of being a mom", I'd become bloated, tired, soft, and ready for a change. Coming across the ad on the Body space homepage of a beautifully toned girl promoting the Hydroxycut Transformation Challenge was just the boost I needed. I promptly signed up and within 4 weeks of taking Hydroxycut, eating six small meals a day, lifting weights, and doing moderate cardio, I was so impressed with the changes I saw in my body and the increase in my energy level, that I signed up for my first Figure Competition. This will be the OCB Pride of the Atlantic in Richmond, VA on May 16. Over 16 weeks of taking Hydroxycut, I've lost 12 pounds (while gaining lean muscle), dropped my Bodyfat from 20% to 13%, and dropped my clothing size from a 10/12 to a 6/8. And man, do I love the feeling of my jeans hanging loosly around the waist....no mom jeans for me! Thank you, Hydroxycut Max, for giving me the courage to sign up for my first figure competition and for helping me acheive my body goals!

Yay
It's difficult to put 19 years of obesity into 250 words. It is hard for me to say what years of my life were most rough on me, each stage had their own separate challenges.
The trouble started in middle school; being constantly made fun of, coming home from school crying because of the horrible names people would call me. Entering high school, it got worse. I became afraid to eat in front of others; closet eating had begun. Shopping trips had always ended in tears. I'd go up a size and nothing in the store would fit.
Junior and senior year I had gained a significant amount of weight. Graduation day was the worst day of my life. I woke up that morning looking for a nice outfit and realized I had outgrown my entire wardrobe. That morning I got to shop in the plus size section; I was 208 pounds.
It wasn't until the start of the Hydroxycut Max Challenge that I became dedicated to losing weight. I joined striving to be healthy with hopes of winning. The first month on Hydroxycut Max I lost 15 pounds and went on to lose 33 pounds total. The energy it gave me was amazing.
Going through this transformation was life-altering. I am confident, happy and healthier than ever. I'd like to thank Hydroxycut Max and BodySpace for offering this amazing opportunity. Had I never joined, I'd never have found the support of so many people. This contest changed my life.

Lola's Hydroxycut Max! Transformation Contest Results
When I joined BodySpace and started the Hydroxycut Max! Transformation Contest, my goal was to commit to a healthy lifestyle and transform my body. It ended up improving not only my physique, but every area of my life. I proved to myself that with hard work and consistent effort I can stick to a diet and exercise plan and see amazing results in my appearance. Hydroxycut Max! definitely intensified the results that I achieved, and I have lost 18 pounds in four months. I feel fantastic about how I look, how my clothes fit, and the size on my skinny jeans. I am proud to put on a cute outfit for work or going out, and have the confidence to shop for the latest styles and try a new haircut. The most exciting improvements are on the inside: my mood has improved, my outlook has become more positive, and I am happier in general. My attitude towards working out has turned around, I am now excited to get started because every workout brings me another step closer to reaching my goals. My confidence in myself has been restored, not only in my appearance but in my abilities, improving my performance at work and in my personal relationships. I am so happy with the slimmer, healthier version of myself and I am still pushing to improve. The Transformation Contest has showed me I am on the right track and can achieve all of my goals with dedication and hard work!

Essay
I have to be honest. I love food! Unfortunately, for the majority of us females, we can't eat whatever we want and maintain a lean and healthy body. It just doesn't work that way! My weight has been like a rollercoaster the past few years. I would get to where I was fairly happy with my body and then before I knew it, the weight had crept back up on me. When I saw the Hydroxycut Max! challenge, I was extremely unsatisfied with my body. So I figured I'd give it a go. The Hydroxycut Max! gave me the focus and energy I needed to stay on track with my diet and training. Yes, there were days that things came up and I skipped out on the gym. Then there were the days when I felt like I could eat an entire cow! Life isn't perfect. The unexpected happens. But with the motivation from the challenge, the support from bodyspace, and the all the benefits of Hydroxycut Max! I was able to lose the extra fat that had so quietly snuck up on me. I was able to regain my self confidence. Now I look forward to putting on my swimsuit and showing off my abs! I am a happier, healthier, and leaner individual thanks to this transformation.

FINAL Essay & Pics!!!
For the past 6 years, I?ve been helping others improve their lives. This April, I earned a Master?s degree in Social Work and have been fortunate enough to explore and empower the lives of others.
Still, nothing equals what I?ve learned in the past 14 weeks! In true social work fashion, I?ve always been taught to place the needs of others before my own needs. Always stressed and 50 lbs. heavier, it was time to improve my life! Thanks to BodyBuilding.com and Hydroxycut, I?ve learned that I must first take care of myself if I want to TRULY help others!
A healthier ?icing on the cake?
My boyfriend stumbled across an advertisement for the Hydroxycut Challenge and introduced me to the idea. I used Bodybuilding.com to research everything from supplementation to proper workout technique to healthy eating habits. Bodybuilding.com provided all the tools to keep me motivated and supported! I became extremely focused on my personal fitness goals?sculpting a body that I can be proud of, preparing healthy meals, using supplementation correctly, reducing stress, and dedicating myself to? well, myself! I have NEVER looked or felt better!
In just 14 weeks, I lost 32 pounds and a total of 28.75 inches!!! Thanks to the Hydroxycut Challenge, I?ve achieved greatness in my own life and have inspired others to do the same. The greatest lesson learned: ?The ONLY way to help others is to first help yourself!?

I can't believe this is the end already!
Before I started the Hydroxycut Max! Transformation Contest, I was
depressed, fat and out of shape. I was unemployed and felt I had no
purpose in life. That stress took a toll on me mentally and physically.
I had all the right tools to get the body I wanted, but I lacked the
discipline and energy to get there! It was then that I found the
Hydroxycut Max! Transformation Contest presented by BodySpace on the
Bodybuilding.com. This was just what I needed to get motivated and to
get out of the slump of self-pity I had dug for myself.
I remember the day I was in a store trying on clothes, and I tried a
size 6 on and they were baggy! I thought, "No way will I fit into a size
4," but I tried them on anyway and they fit! I was extremely excited, as
I have never fit into a size 4 before. If this middle-aged woman can do
it any one can!
Hydroxycut Max! gave me the energy and stamina to endure my tough
workouts and it helped curb my appetite. Along the way I found myself
again. I am happier and more energetic and self confident.

Staceys Hydroxycut Max Transformation
I enter this transformation contest and started taking Hydroxycut Max, because I just got so tired on being on the diet roller coaster of gaining weight then losing it. So when I saw that bodybuilding.com and Hydroxycut Max were having a contest I thought, "this is the motivation I need for my transformation."
Usually when I try to lose weight, I lose it in all the wrong places, but with the help of this fat burner, the support and information on bodybuilding.com, exercising and eating healthy I was able to get a firm fit body. Hydroxycut Max gave me a lot of energy and helped me stay in control so I could reach my fitness goals.
I never imagined I would lose so much weight and inches. (4 inches off my waist and I lost 23 pounds in a couple of months)
I am so amazed with the results and how much it has changed not only my life but my families. I have been learning so much about nutrition and weight management from magazines and this site that I am always sharing what I have learned with my kids and husband. As a family this is a change of life for us, we are eating healthy and exercising together, so we can live a healthier life.
Thank you for your great product because of it I am in the best shape of my life and I will never go back to the roller coaster diet again.

Final contest submission
BTW!! EVERYONE LOOKS AWESOME!!
Contest: Hydroxycut Transformation
Start Date: 1/19/09
End Date: 3/26/09
9 weeks lost 25 lbs.
Essay/before and after pics
New Year, New Life, New Me!!
I am 35 years old and I had NEVER been inside of a health club or gym in my entire life! I would drive past these places and see people working out, sweating their butt's off and think No way, Not me, never!
After many years of drinking too much, eating too much and just overall severely abusing my mind and body, I decided along with my husbands relentless insistence, that enough was enough! Being a competitive person by nature I needed a goal and happened to find this contest! This has opened my eyes to whole new life and new world of fitness! Being and staying fit for life is one of my new long term goals !!
Not just for me but for my entire family. This contest became a family affair it was contagious! My family and I joined a gym...?health club? lol! We all became more conscious of what, how and when we ate. A work out schedule soon followed and as a whole we became more aware of our overall health and well being. This transformation campaign affected my entire family in a positive way! Remember that old adage a family that plays together stays together?? Well we replaced plays with works out! We look better, feel better, have more energy and stress levels in the house are at an all time low! I have a new improved family and life! It wasn't easy, nothing worth having ever is, right?

You guys all look great - Congratulations
I can tell everyone has worked REALLY hard and have achieved great results. Congrats all of you. I am still inspired from all of you because even though I have lost 35lbs, and went from 38%bf to just under 30%bf I have a long way to go to goal. All of your pics and storys are inspiration to me, to see how some of you went from 30%bf to under 20, your transformations make me see that it can be done, and WHAT a difference in your physics. All i can say is WOW Girls, keep it up.
I feel like I have won already- Not the contest but a whole new change in life. Any of us that have had a change in life has won. I learned in this contest that its NEVER too late in life to change your fitness situation. You always hear how after 29 its harder to loose weight.maybe that was before supplements like Hydroxycut...but I have proven to myself that you CAN lose weight after 30. I am 43 and have done it, and it was hard, but not anymore than anyone else on this forum. We all had to work, but our reward can be measured by our health, attitude, being able to do more and feel like doing more for others and our families and ourselves
Good luck, and Stay Fit.

Hydroxycut Max Transformation Contest
Before this transformation contest, I worked out occasionally. I felt good afterwards but never stuck with it. I got pregnant in December 2006 and didn?t exercise very much. When my son turned one I decided to go back to school, change jobs, and start working out. I was successful with school and a career change but not exercising. I became self-conscious of my body and I was losing hope because I felt like I never had time to work out. I started the Hydroxycut Transformation Contest in February 2009 and since then have managed to succeed in school, be a full time teacher and mom, and squeeze in workouts, sometimes even with my son. I would use him as extra weight or put him in a wagon, tie a rope around my waist and the handle and pull. If I needed more weight I would put the dog in there too! This transformation has given me energy, more quality time with my son, motivation, and most of all self-confidence and a healthier, leaner body. This was a lifetime change for me. I continue to follow a clean eating diet with exercise. I will be a positive role model for my son and future children. Entering about six weeks behind the competition, I am proud of my accomplishments. I am also learning how to educate others on clean eating and proper exercise routines. Hydroxycut Max has opened my eyes to new possibilities. Thank you so much!

Tonight at midnight (Eastern Time) is the last chance to post your final transformation photos ("After" photos)!
This thread will be locked tonight at midnight, so please don't procrastinate too long! LOL
A HUGE "Thank you!" to everyone who participated in this great contest - and good luck! Is everyone enjoying their music?

Yes she did, Chris! Thanks for noticing!
It hasn't been all happy happy joy joy.... we've had our share of carb-deprived shortness with each other, conflicting gym schedules and fighting over who has to clean the George Foreman grill everyday, LOL! But Holly has been an inspiration to me, and has helped me stay on track with my transformation as well. It's great to have a supportive, loving wife by your side! (Not to mention she's pretty hot..... and getting better with age!)

You have done a great job! You should feel like you've won. Each and everyone who finished should feel that way. I trying to make sure I am comfortable with myself when I finish too. That is the key. I liked your essay as well!
