tonsilitis won't go away, pleez halp (serious)
Bout 3-4 weeks ago I came down with a sore throat and my tonsils swelled up... my sinuses, chest and gums were all infected and my gums started bleeding badly.
Gum bleeding has stopped though gums don't look great... I've just finished a 2 week course of antibiotics which barely helped and now there is white and grey **** on my left tonsil, and some grey lumps around my mouth. My entire throat and back of my gums are hugely raw and veiny looking.
I'm going to the doctor but can only afford so many checkups, and he can only afford so much time per checkup, so I've learned practically nothing off him...
I gargle with salt and mouthwash twice daily. I want to get back into training but I can't even do light cardio without symptoms getting much worse for the next few days.
Please help...

I know you said you already gargle, but try gargling with HOT (as hot as you can stand) salt water, with two crushed up aspirin mixed in. Try to let it go down your throat as much as possible without it making you sick (STRONG no homo).

Need to get some antibotics man. I used to get that all the time. Sounds like you need to get them removed.

I got tonsilitus about a year ago, it cleared up in a week. Do you know if it is viral or bacterial? The antibiotics aren't going to do anything if it viral. 3-4 weeks sounds like a long time for it not to heal, might just have to get them removed. Sucks brah.

it sucks man, ive been there. i would probably be around 200solid lbs if i never got this crap, and to top it off i was given an antibiotic after surgery (clindamycin) for 2 weeks wich killed alll the good bacteria in my digestive trac and i am still tryin to get my stomach back to normal. not tryin to scare you just be aware of wat antibiotics can do....yes they help but they also harm. dont let your doc keep given them out like candy. this is wat mine did. go see an ENT ear nose throat DOC ASAP

Sounds like you'll need to get them removed. It might be something you just have to do even if you can't afford it right now. You'll be able to make payments. You don't want to mess around if it's really infected. Infections can spread and even get in your bloodstream.
Claim you just walked into the emergency room from Mexico. Free care.
