Pain in right calf

Lately I have been experiencing a pain in my right calf whenever I put pressure on it such as running or deep squatting. When I squat, it makes it very hard to get out of the hole with such a sharp pain. I'm assuming that I should lay off the squats for now but what exercises would be somewhat decent alternatives to working my glutes and hams especially?

Thanks.
