Promax Bars
There is no better tasting protein bar the the cookies and cream one. I would 100% recomend this to any one who wants a great tasting protein bar that has less than 300 calories

i personally think that the best bar for an awsome price is by "premier nutrition" simply called "protein" the chocolate peanut butter flavor is delicious. it has 30g of protein, 0 trans fat, 8g of sugar (not too bad), 23g of carbs, and 280 calories which definately works for a meal replacement! try them.

The VPX Zero Impact bars, in the Pumpkin Spice, flavor is awesome. Put them in the microwave...nuke them for 10 seconds.....AWESOME.
Plus, has anyone looked at the ingredients in this bar??? This bar has only the best ingredients in it. No fillers. Lots of EFAs, CLA, only quality low glycemic carbs, and no soy.

I still cant believe people eat Supreme Bars. Im reading posts that say obvious things like "Its 35 grams of carbs, not 6". And then I see posts after them saying that its actually fiber that causes "non impacting carbs" The supreme bar only has a couple grams of fiber tops, the rest is pure ****.
Guys...
Sugar alcohols are complete garbage. Stop eating these bars that are loaded with maltitol and malitol and all that garbage.
Im surprised sugar alcohols have not died 10 years ago with the "Low carb" phase.

I agree with Rockdsn, I'm a huge fan on VPX Zero Impact bars which are helpin my gain some weight. They run from about 440 to 484 calories depending on flavour and have a decent amount of carbs along with good fats for gaining. I used to like Big 400's and Detour bars but after trying these out there's no contest!

May have to look into that. Anything in the $1 to $1.50 per bar range??

HI-PROTEIN Universal
I have tried many bars. The best among for the profile and value is HI-PROTEIN from Universal !!
I dont like hi sweet(cloying-like promax) bars. I just want some thing that tastes light. HI-PROTEIN fits to that. sMORES is really good easy to eat.
Flavors : Choclate Brownie (7/10 Cloyingly sweet)
Smores (10/10 Lightly sweet) !!

Best Protein Bars
I like the Titan Peanut Butter bars the best. They are so filling and taste better than any I have tried. The protein count is high and the sugars are low. These totally work as a meal replacement, in fact there is no way I could eat that much as a snack.

Anyone buy protein bars from walmart or places like it? I just bought some Clif bars from Walmart. 20g protein each bar and it was pretty damn good. The flavor was Peanut butter. Protein bars are just so expensive. they really need to decrease the costs.

yea malitol is def one of the worse sugar alcohols ive heard as well but what makes it so bad i know it does cause people who eat it to have horrible stomach pain and gas and bloating but my body responds ok to it i get a lil bloated if i eat more than like 30 grams of it but if it doesent spike insulin thats very useful to losig weight much better than sugar wouldunt that mean its not as absorbed as other carbs so isint that a plus?i have heard it does cause a raise in insulin and even i heard its pretty high on the glycemic chart is that true?
kk for my fav bars very hardd lol i ma big fan of bars because i restrict myself to very low carbs and no junk most of them are amazing to me ......depending my mood but Supreme rocky road, carbrite diet bars and those tri o plex cookies are amazing just the ratios arent perfect but taste makes up for it lol

Favortie Protein Bar
The best Protein Bar I have found is Titan by Premier Nutrition. It has 30g of protein and it is like eating a candy bar, without the guilt! I have had the Lap-Band procedure and it is difficult to get in the amount of protein I need each day (60g) and this is one solution that works for me.

When I was eating the VPX Bars, I'd definitely go with the Pumpkin Supreme (I think that's what it's called)... my FAV.

Anyone knows if wal-mart carries a decent high protein, low carb and fat bar?
Recommendations please as I don't have costco membership. What about GNC, do they have any good ones?

i use supreme bars not cause they are advertised as low carb, but because they are the best tasting ever! awesome cheat meals IMO.
I never noticed any bloat or stomach issues with them. But def think sugar alcohols are misleading to say the least.
rocky road and pb crunch are outa control.

Chef Jay's
Chef Jay's Tri-O-Plex Bars (and Duo Bars) are the absolute best tasting nutritious protein bars out there.
Sure, there are a few other that taste better, but chances are they're absolute sh%t when it comes to nutritional value...other than protein content.
But if you want to get fat, then by all means, keep scarfing down those Met RX Colossal bars.
