News!!!
I've been going round and round for the past couple of days about weither or not if I should push back my competition again, the reason isn't because of me, but because of my son. I got him Hospitalized yesterday for evaluation, I've been trying to get him Diagnosed w/ Autism Specturm Disorder for the last 2 yrs but no Dr would listen to me and just diagnosed him w/ ADHD, now that I've moved her to Ga, I have been pushing these Dr's to see that it isn't ADHD and FINALLY they see Autism but not sure what since Autism has such a wide range.
For those of you who knows what it's like to compete, you know what it takes up alot of your free time and personal life, I can't have that right now, my son needs me, there will always be competitions, but only one of my son.
I will compete again, but not right now, if everything goes smoothly I should be able to this fall. I will keep up w/ my healthy eating and my training only because that is who I am, that won't ever stop, but I need to be able to relax and have a life and that isn't something that competing gives me at this time.
I will be off here for a few only because my son is still in the hospital and will be there for the rest of the week, once everything gets back to normal, I'll be back on here, thanks for everyones understanding
Another side note, I got my labs back and all my hormones are competely normal.

Hi Vanessa. Although it's not the best news, at least you have found a diagnosis that you agree with and the right treatment will soon be underway for your son. And no worries about putting off your contest. It's good that you are aware of your priorities. Regardless of what battles you take on on or off the stage, we will be there to support you. Take care.

My prayers for ya, Vanessa, as I have kind of been there before. You are saint for putting your son ahead of your own desires. Kudos to you...I'll keep your son in my thoughts!

Thanks Hoos, you of all people would understand what I'm going through, I thought I could do this but it has gotten to be too much on me, my body isn't working for me but against me because of all the stress, so it's best to push it aside till all is well again.

Sorry to hear about your son Vanessa. You and your family will be in my prayers. I wish you the best of luck getting these Dr's to really look into this and give you the answers that you seek. Again you and your family are in my prayers. Take care of yourself and your family and we will be here to support you as we have been and will always be.

Thanks so much Billy, sometimes you just have to focus on other things in life other than bbing, yes, my life is competing, but it doesn't revolve around it all the time, there are always more important things. I'll be back soon, I've already looked into shows this fall, that gives me plenty of time to get my life, family back were it needs to be

Glad to hear you're healthy and normal! Family always comes first. ALWAYS. You can still diet without the stress of competing and be the mom your supposed to be. All the while, the gains you make while you take care of personal business will just make you that much more complete when you step on stage again.
I hope your son gets the help and attention that every child deserves!
