I dont understand why people assume that just because you dont lift legs you have chicken legs? Endomorph here If anything my upper wont grow for jack but when I do legs i look fatter

My experience tells me women like a compact, muscular butt on a guy. It implies "thrusting power and endurance"...LOL
I don't think big rears fly that well (even if they are muscular) or flat rears.
In the end, women are most attracted to a guys personality and not as much the bod though so having a sharp wit is most important I believe.

Touche, these guys are just doing it for the look, theyre only doing what is aesthetically pleasing to them. BB is a lifestyle, those who are serious about it should be doing a full body workout.

It is BODYBUILDING.......Legs are half your body....I really don't like LEG days at the gym....but I wear shorts a lot and most of the compliments I get from the ladies are about my legs....I really like it better when they compliment my guns.....must be a guy thing.

Chicken legs are so not hot with me!!! He needs to pack on the muscle to the legs as well. It makes me laugh to see guys walking around camp who think they are big just because they have biceps and yet have no legs at all.
I wouldn't want some guy to see me take my clothes off from the bottom up...revealing nice legs and glutes but flabby stomach, sagging tits and bat wings for arms! So why would I want to see a guy with feminine legs and a sagging flat butt!!!

Well defined strong legs. are what I look for-- they could be big or they could be quite slim-- but thing untrained legs are just GROSS.
Perfect legs.
Good legs for the overall body size. they are not "big" -- but still sexy.
This is gross:
But I see guy with big arms and legs just like that aaaaaall the time.

IN my experience, legs dont mean much. Abs trump all in the eyes of a woman. Dont care what female says different on here, they are lying (and yep, ill call every one a liar that says diff its the net) . AND if you have abs, your most likely (no duh right) to be pretty lean, which all in all, will trump the rest.

--eh but I think guys think women are looking for much more defined abs than most women really are-- I read posts from guys all the time "how do I get abs OMG I need abs" -- it's simple just don't be fat. In fact all it comes down to is beer bellies are not cute. I don't need to use it as a washboard, you know? Not all guy will get a washboard without pushing their bodytype in to an odd place, if that make any sense.
A flat but softly defined set of abs can look great if te over al build of the guy is solid and masculine enough.
I think guys worry about their abs way to much it makes me giggle.

Giggle all you want. Im not hatin on abs or ppl with them I really dont care. This topic isnt the most important thing on my list, nor am I gonna debate about it. All women love abs. Thats the bottom line. But hey its cool. I love a woman with a flat stomach, find it sexy as hell. As I cannot attain abs myself. Whats hot about a fat flap that smacks her every time you thrust into her? Exactly, I rest my case. Legs<abs. So yes, legs are less important than a solid midsection/upperbody.

In my opinion, yup, abs are ONE of the sexiest things a guy can have, BUT I'd rather a guy with a well-developed chest, nice biceps, a good butt, and YES decent legs along with a flat but not defined stomach (no gut, just not "abs") than an ordinarily slim guy who is just lean enough to have a six pack.
Of course, as said before, superbuff upper body with chicken legs is not something us ladies find particularily appealing. It's better than nothing, though! I'll take built upper body + chicken legs over average or skinny body any day, especially if it comes with an entertaining personality

I've been lean all my life, and the genetics have helped me develop a nice and well-defined upper body, including nice abs. And yes, although I do work my legs in the gym, they would probably be considered "chicken legs" in the Misc. I do believe I'm pretty symmetrical anyway, but have always tried to build bigger legs.
From my overall experiences (with women), it hasn't really mattered for me. If I throw on a beater in the summer, I stand out wherever I go and receive a lot of looks/comments, regardless of my legs. Have I gotten the "Damn, your stacked up top, but what about those chicken legs?" comments, of course, but not from anyone (generally females) that I've really cared about. They've been primarily from females who know they didn't really have a chance with me, so they would just throw those types of negative comments my way to make themselves maybe look better, and for me to potentially second guess myself.
I workout and stay healthy entirely for myself anyway, both upper and lower, so if a female is going to be that picky in the end of it all, I'm not going to waste my time with them anyway. I believe my personality plays a bigger role (to go along with my looks), so I never really worry about it. I can only do so much with the bod that was given to me!
In general, I would say yes, for men, we should strive to be as "proportionate" as possible, but within reason.
Personalities aside, would you women tend to be more initially attracted to a fat and out of shape "proportionate" guy over the well-defined, 6-pack, more healthier looking guy with slightly more muscle up on his top over his legs?

My turn for a pic, I think I'm pretty well proportioned.

I keep hoping to find myself in an alternate reality where having nice legs and a lousy upper body is perceived as attractive, but then I wake up and here I am on planet Earth.
Except for a few female fitness freaks, girls don't notice guys' legs much.

I think being proportionate all over is a big plus. It just looks odd to have a nicely formed upper body and nothing on the bottom
