i took 3/4 50:1 400mg extract for 2 weeks and definantly felt the immediate benefits! but the other day a small pea sized cyst appeared behind my ear along with a fairly spotty complexion. Does anybody know if the tongkat could be the cause or not?

I highly doubt that but this stuff does not have a long study history. I'd go to a dermatologist.

Just started back up with herbal powers lj100 powder. It tastes SO BAD you must put em in capsules. Still the best non steroid I've used.

I've never used the site, but I can tell you this. Powdered extract is strongly bitter. So much so that I couldn't even mix it with anything to make it the last bit pleasant to take. I'd advise either finding some in capsule form or, if you have the patience, putting it in capsules yourself.

Off topic - Are you in Iowa? I work in Davenport.

Yes, it is a nice area. I actually live on the Illinois side of the Mississippi River and commute to Davenport everyday. It's only about 5 miles from my office to my house though. It is definitely a nice area. Let me know if you decide to move this way. I could use a workout partner.

I've been going with NOW Testojack. It's got 50mg of LJ100 per 2 capsules along with ZMA, Eleuthero, and Tribulus. The combination has worked great for me. I've been thinking about going with a pure LJ100 supplement to see what the difference is.

TestoJack is a good bit less than the others too.

Respectfully, Not quite true. In terms of mg for mg of lj100, the original product at $25 for 90x 50mg caps is cheaper than NOW at $11 for 60x 25mg caps.
Of course, Testjack has more goodies in it and works quite well.

Yes it can. I used testojack, which is not straight lj100, to help me through a Bold cycle. It couldve been the trib or goat weed, but it really worked.

I'm curious as to how much age plays a role in the effectiveness of this supplement. Those that are still in the 20s and still experiencing decent levels of test production may get more out of it. Those in their 30s to late 30s may have a different experience since on average, test levels drop when you hit that age. So would a product that is 'supposed' to encourage natural testosterone production really do any good? And what about people in their 40s and up when adding muscle becomes even more challenging unless you have very good genetics, you are doing a cycle or both?

Also, are those that are experiencing increased gains on TA using it exclusively or are you stacking it with something else? It's a bit tough to attribute your changes solely to that product if you are combining it with other things. You have to establish a baseline somehow.

Edit:
Based on this reference which was mentioned in an earlier post, it sounds as if any TA product in the US is not worth the box it comes in. Plus you would have to pop so many caps that it exceeds the amount recommended. The research here says he took 1 gram of a 1:50 extract. That would equate to about 20 of the LJ100 caps if I did the math right!! I don't know how the 1:50 relates to the 1:100 so I could be off.

Any suggestions??????????I took 4 caps this morning and am taking 8 tonight,,,,,,total 12 caps. 4 caps didn't seem to make any difference

It can take up to two weeks to take effect. Don't start mega-dosing.

1:50 is useless. 100 powder works very good for me, for sex drive, mood, and strength.

which probably means it's too low to have any effect. http://www.testingtongkatali.com/tongkat_dosage.htm Unless the extract is at least 1:50, your money is being wasted according to this source. Too bad this stuff costs so much. I mean @ $300 for 350gm of 1:50 powder, that would last you a little over a month if you followed the 1gm/day dosage. Pretty pricey.
