Well so far we've seen...
Episode 1: Gladiator vs Apache
Episode 2: Viking vs Samurai
Episode 3: Spartan vs Ninja

Rank them.

1. Spartan - hands down top. The shield and spear are by far the best combination. 1v1 combat head to head I would take him over anyone, including Gladiator. X vs X = Spartan easily as I highly doubt anyone else could defeat them.

2. Gladiator - 1 vs 1 I would take them only second to gladiator. X vs X they would get crushed as they are solo fighters and dont train as a unit.

3. Samurai - Fairly good 1 vs 1. I believe he would be more effective 1 vs 1 compared to ninja, viking, and apache.

4. Viking - Big, strong, slow. I dont see how effective he would be. I still rank him alot higher than the indian. They rank higher in X vs X than the Ninja.

5. Ninja - I rank him lower because if someone knows hes there, I doubt he would have much of a chance. Hes also stealthy, and plays dirty. Head on head combat he has no chance to the top half.

6. Apache - hands down last. 1 vs 1 I think he would be defeated by anyone. X vs X would be defeated too. Poor weapons(in comparison), no armor, poor stealth compared to ninja.

So far Spartan is on top for me and with next episode being Knights vs Pirates, I highly doubt it will change.

How would you rank them and why?

Spartan... 4 foot shield and bronze armor > everything else
Samurai... cool stuff but no match for a shield
Viking... samurai weaponry was better
Gladiator... a convict not a soldier
Ninja...an assasin not a soldier, shouldnt be on the show
Apache....its a naked guy with a rock

none of them belong in the same breath as a teutonic knight

viking, because of brute force.
samurai, my favorite warrior, and advantage because of the bow/arrow.
spartan, good shield. but imo best in group, not alone.
apache, didn't like the weapons that much...
gladiator, almost no armor, and probably dumb as ****.

Super effective

1. Spartan- Overall awesome fighter + Weapons and Protection= Best (no 300 vote)
2. Samurai- Unreal sword skills + Bow accuracy + Protection
3. Ninja- Crazy Weapons Short/Long Distance + Speed and stealth
4.Viking- Unreal Strength + Spear Range/Accuracy + Protection
5. Gladiator- Strong+Deecent weapons however slaves fighting for sport, so at a disadvantage with lack of sheilding and proper weapons.
6.Apache-Avg warrior IMO. Stealthy but nothing special.

Predictions for Pirate vs Knight?

I'm going to take Knight, although if the Pirate has a gun i'll take pirate.

That show is bull****. I stopped watching after the first episode.

They based the Gladiator's punching force on Chuck Lidell... wearing gloves like that, exerting 3000lbs of punching power = broken face and probably death after one hit, much less three, even less likely a tiny piece of **** manlet that was like 5'6 would survive.

Or like when they were testing long range weapons... they had the rock speed calculated and shot into a dummy's face, and it was instant death, and then they had that old retard shoot a bow about 20 times and were like 'WELL OBVIOUSLY THIS DID MORE DAMAGE'... stupidest most biased test ever. The first shot did **** all, they should have counted that.

Show is all stupid opinion, and a 'computer program' that is never fully explained. You can't simulate two people fighting like that realistically. It's all entertainment.

5 - Ninja
6 - Apache (aka pussies that run away and suck at fighting)

Ninja's also used Explosives and Firearms. The people who do the research for that show need to be shot.



Edit: Ninja's were also used as a Guerrilla force to confuse and distract the enemy. Many times sent in dressed in the enemies uniform and armor, Not just as Assassin's so they can be considered soldiers

a samurai's katana barely knicked chainmail
and the knight wears padded leather+chain+platemail
can anybody think of a warrior who could hold there own against that?

1. spartan because of the way they were raised and bred to fight

2. Viking because there fearless and some nasty ass weapons u dont want to get hit by.

3. Ninja....dirty fighters and a wide arrange of creative weapons to blind, dismember and disarm there opponent...they dont need any element of surprise to have a very effective offense.

4. Gladiator only because they had to fight to survive, alot of those guys were prob massive pussys

5. Apache....thats right you heard it here....these guys dont have honor and will do anything to win much like the rest of the 4 above him

6. Samarai....Honor is there downfall...they always want a fair fight and will never fight dirty for sake of dishonoring there family name...they have one advantage and that is there Katana...but also there downfall since most barely ever carry a short sword they rely heavly on there main weapon.
