nice vid! today, after a chest set of 65, 95, 115, 135, and 215 (all 5 reps except 215) I tried my 1/2BW of 80lbs and did 34reps , then tried again and did 28. hopefully I can crank out a lot more fresh.

Very sad. My thoughts and prayers are with you. I had my mother in law pass away last year. She came over on Monday and was just fine, Wednesday she had a stroke, doing better Thursday, Saturday died. Very much a shock.

Bench press vids looking good guys! If I had muscle I would do it too, my muscles were swaped out with fat, but thats changing, you guys will see that once I win.
I am back, I took a week off to rest and relax and let go of diet and resistance training.. wouldn't you know it, I dropped 9lbs, currently down to 237, the all time low. I think I was 15 the last time I was this weight. LOL
Man I missed a lot, I am going to have to read up..

I sincerely hope my video is not the best that the guys have to offer. I only did mine for the heck of it cause I want to participate in all the contests. I think everyone is waiting to the last minute to see what they have to beat.
I tried 1/2 BW (did 105lbs) a few days ago and got 32 reps before having to stop because my elbow felt like it was going to fall off, I'm going to grab some joint support though and hopefully give it another go this week before the deadline.
EDIT: The thing I've been thinking lately about the pain in my left elbow is that my left arm is about a half inch smaller than my right, mostly due to triceps size difference which could be the reason why I'm having trouble with benching and the like. Anyone know a good tactic for balancing out muscle groups like this? Extra sets of single-arm movements for the left side or something like that?

You could try extra sets of single-arm movements for the left side, But using a Joint supplement will help a lot too, what are you going to use?

The other thing is something simple but often overlooked. Stretching and warming up. I often have pain in the tricep tendon going into the elbow and stretching it against a wall before doing tricep extensions eleviates half the pain. Could be overtraining too.
