Experimental fried shrimp

I made some fried shrimp today.

for the crispy part I put in a sandwhich bag:

Crushed pork grinds
onion and garlic powder
fine ground flax meal

Smash everything in the bag and shake the **** out of it.

I dipped the shrimp in a mixture of:

2 eggs
heavy whipping cream


I dont know the exact measurements since i improvise all my cooking...

Put the dipped shrimp in the bag and once again shake the **** out of it, fry that son of a bitch up and eat it with some tartar sauce and hot sauce..

I've never "fried" stuff.
So when you say to fry the shrimp, do you mean on a pan/skillet or deep frying?

Try to fry it in soy flour. It is wonderful.

I haven't thought of using crushed pork rinds for a fry coating. I always buy the chili flavored ones, so at least it'll have its own flavoring.

Me and my friend used to always use the spicy pork rinds when we made keto-friendly chicken parmesan as a coating. It tastes pretty good, especially if you're into spicier food.
