new trainer plan and meal plan
so im working with The Do the Work crew Aka Steve78 on bodyspace. His web site is fitnesspoynters.com he is working with some ladies on here beautifulgrace and irondiva83 who are on same meal plan and workouts as me and have awesome results. The meal plan is as follows
Meal 1 3egg whites & 1/4 cup oats'
Meal 2 3 rice cakes plain & 2 tbsp peanut butter &1/2 grapefruit
Meal three Large salad with 4-5 oz chicken, lean beef or tuna
Evoo and vinger for dressing
Meal 4 4-5 chicken large serving of veggies to your liking
meal 5 4-5 oz chicken or 6oz tuna &1/4 cup raw almonds other half of grapefruit
Meal 6 Protein shake ( i use gaspari nutrtion myofusion blend of fast and slow protein) with 1 tbsp peanut butter
The meal plan is great keeps me full and satisfied!!'
the workout are insane 5 days weights then cardio post 3-4 days a week
(i still do 5-6 days a week as i like to have a few cardio only days )
My question to u ladies is the one thing he wants me to do (and yes the other girls do this i have asked them personally) seems kkinda wierd to me
Ok so my pre gym meal at 7:15 am would be 3 egg white and 1/4 cup oats
arrive at gym to 1 of his workouts, here were it gets interesting he wants me to down a protein shake post weights with 10 GUMMY BEARS then do his ab circuit( which is awesome i already see and feel a difference) The hit up my cardio ! and when done like 30-45 min have meal 2 rice cakes and pbutter and grapefruit!
Does this seem silly im just worried cause i dont like to put sugar in me like that and that i ahve always worked out on empty stomach in am both cardio first then weights..(probably why i was exhausted and no real results like i should have been getting)
The results the girls he has on same plan speak for them self beautiful grace put up before and after pic using meal plan and workouts after a month and holly smokes what a hug difference!!

A carb spike from gummy bears is no different than a carb spike through adding dextrose to a shake. It's all good.

the gummy bears are probably to spike your insulin. after weights its ideal to do so to replenish your glycogen (sp?) you need both protein and carbs post workout. give it a shot

sp? whats that im lost
so Amanda your saying give it a shot and see how i feel, as far as dextrose maybe ill buy some and use that instead after tomorows workout i already bout gummy bears think im going to try 5..im pariond lol
He also gives a high carb day every 4th day to fire up metabloism
most of carbs are from some oats and fruits but this meal plan i really like it keeps me ful from good fats im guessing and its at my calorie range too around 1800-1900 with lots of protein so it cant hurt right?

Dextrose is a sugar. The results of eating it won't be any different than eating gummy bears.
Don't mess with your trainer's program. Do exactly what he tells you to or he won't be able to tweak things for you if he needs to.

well did it thiam am after weight before abs circuit like 20 min long then did hiit for 25 min sprints at 10.0mph was sweating like a pig lol but kinda had a tummy ache afterwards..went away
do u think it could be just because i just strting eating before the gym?? i used o just have coffee do hiit then do weights ,now he has me having meal 1 3egg whites with 1/4 cup oats (alone, mixed together or as a pancake) then hitting weights like 45 min later!! Overall i felt great besides tummy ache but meal plan is awesome and i feel satisfied having to remind myself to eat every 2.5-3 hours lol

I think you should check with him about posting your meal plan online. Generally, those sorts of things are protected by copyright and have been prepared for you personally and if I was him, I wouldn't appreciate my clients giving it out for free to others....

Hey girl! I've been on Steve's plan for only a week. I actually finished my first week on Friday and I'm loving it and those gummies will not hurt you. I swear I've already lost an inch off my waist. I will most my measurements later on in the day but I feel fantastic!! Keep up the great work and hopefully we can motivate each other!
