IWantIt stays pretty consistent with his journal. He recently posted progress pics in there and it shows his hard work. He posts in a lot of peoples journals as well:

Just hit the three month mark! Making a log was a great decision and I have had some great gains. However, I have a long way to go and I have no plans of slowing down. Check it outtt!

You are all GREAT !!!
I want to say a big "YOU'RE ALL AWESOME" to all of those here who are giving their all and doing what it takes everyday to be healthy and keep in shape... Times are tough and all of you are out there doing your thang to keep on top.
Big thumbs up to you all--

You all deserve praise. Upon reading some journals I see the highs and lows associated with hitting plateaus and dealing with injuries/layoffs. At the same time I see you overcoming the barrier and marching forward. This is very edifying for me to see because I know what lifting in the trenches is like and overcoming such obstacles by working hard and smart.
I am committed to repping everyone in this section with such above mentioned qualities because you deserve it a helluva lot more than people simply posting funny pics etc. I know reps are not much but it is just a way of awarding well deserving members for their hard work.
Again, congratulations and thanks for choosing this site to journal your progress.
Mark.
P.S. IF YOU HAVE A JOURNAL 3 MONTHS OR LONGER AND HAVE'NT BEEN REPPED BY ME PM ME THE LINK AND I WILL REP WHEN I CAN. IF THE VOLUME OF PMs IS HIGH IT MAY TAKE AWHILE.

Wanna see the deadest log in the world (yet haven't missed a workout since Jan)*?
blumnblam's log
My big 3:
Squat: 135 (Jan) --> 205x5 (last week)
BB bench: 155 (Jan) --> (210x4)
DL: 220 --> 260x5 (this morning)
What I've learned: - Don't overestimate yourself early on. Form + [Barbells] + Modesty + Diet = Gains. Haven't touched a dumbell in '09!
- Also, for those who don't -- keep a log! You'd be surprise how attributable it keeps you to progressing. Each month, each week, each workout you force yourself to get better. More has happened in the last 4 months for me than in ALL of '08.
*I lied: I missed one at the end of Jan for the MCAT.

Had my journal going just over 3 months now: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=113519041
Very useful for keeping a track of things, also helps keep up encouragement if needed because you can look back and see visible progress.

One of the best workout plan!
The Workout plan for the best way for not being overtraining:
1) Work chest, triceps and shoulders on the same day, and biceps and back on the same day so that it's ok if the secondary muscles get worked that day, because your doing them anyway.
2) Separate those muscles that work a secondary muscle so that they are far enough apart not to overtrain you. For example, do Chest Monday, triceps on Wednesdays, and shoulders Friday... and biceps Monday with chest, and back Wednesday or Friday.
3) This is personally what I prefer, and do myself. Do chest and triceps Monday, and shoulders Thursday, and back and biceps together on Friday.

how about legs? Or your core?
or do not think training you legs or core is important?

into the 4th month now....been showing an average improvement of about 2% per week so far so pretty happy with things. it definitely helps to look back over your progress every month or two and see how far you've come....very motivating. ive definitely had faster progress than in the past when ive done my own thing and just kept it all jotted down on random bits of paper
