Nah they're not bad. The oil/flooding related problems have all been fixed

Love how they incorporate the rotary shape into the design of the car. My gf's RX-8 handles like it's on rails. Very fun to drive.

It's awesome. A bit pricey but I'll just pay it off on deployment.

It really shines on handling, straight line speed means nothing if you can't turn

gj nice car.
the rotary engine problems for the most part are non-existent for the post 2006 models.
my friend is rolling with a 2007 rx-8 running 19lbs of boost.
ive read rotary can handle like 25lbs of boost stock.

On Top Gear the RX-8 they tested ran the same time on their track as the previous generation M3 (which has about 110 horsepower more hah), and both of those were right behind the Porsche 911 (possibly turbo? dead serious, look up the video).

Good but governed to 125. It's not much of a loss though since the car is drag limited to ~145

My gf's is automatic. Slows the car down a good bit, so not that great. It's the 6 speed manual or nothing. Still pissed he parents made her get the auto or wouldn't let her get the car (no, not spoiled, bought it herself).

That's a sick car. Eventually I'm going to get around to painting the badges black, probably this summer.

Yea but the rx8 really fit the bill and I've wanted one ever since they came out in 04. The z is only a two door/seater which = $$$ on insurance. The rx8 is technically a 4 door so that saves a good bit on insurance.
