stupid parents
how do you guys live around your parents? mine are driving me insane! they yell at me for eating like a pig. they yell at m or being 'too picky wih what i eat' and being obsessed with the gym! my mum cooks heathy ish meals and rund a bit and seems to think she is god because of it. telling me a choolat cake - of all things - wont make me put on weight!! aparently i dont need as much protien as i eat ( i need more ) and meat is the source of all evil! (she is vegitsarian and insists that beens and nuts are better) rant over

ya well i think a lot of ppls parents site are like this, bc well they r the ones paying for the food bro. They dont want to put out an extra $100 a week bc u decided to take weight lifting srs. I know you might not want to hear this but you might have to get a job so that you can buy yourself more food... (for now I'm still safe aside from having to buy an extra 2 gallons of milk per week)

Yeah I agree don't try too hard like you're going to MR. O. Results will only com through consistency. You're too young to be worrying about everything. Just eat big and lift heavy. Enjoy your golden years or you might regret when you're older. Like don't miss the prom just so you can go lift. Lol! I would be mad as hell if I ever did that.

I know what ya mean on this one. Although my parents are as bad they still kinda question what I'm taking (I'm on taking protien and pre-workout) and I have to convince them that everything's ok and it's legal (lol) I think it's bs that I have to defend myself about what I'm doing like watching my weight/lifting and of course mom's don't help AT ALL! For some reason that is beyond me, there happens to be chocolate everywhere! And just some of the food is just not what I should be eating... It makes the whole cutting thing pretty hard.

Well when you do eat red meat it steals calcium from your body which could lead to brittle bones/osteoporosis but as long as you take a multi you should be good.

I know exactly how u feel man...ma whole family is vegitarian...except me..ill eat everything. They eat out all the time...always the most unhealthiest foods that there are. My family does not support me in anything i do...i am injured at the moment...and they do not want to get me any doctors treatment.
So i know how it is man...i guess u could just take advantage of what u have to eat and maybe buy some healthy meats when ur out

i understand some things but i dont see how we got in a fight over me not wanting to eat chocolate cake! easter will kill me. apaentlyim being too serious. 'your not an athlete' ! ' you dont train enough' ( an hour every day is pretty good bty most peoples standards. i dont see her doing anything) and she just dosnt buy food. at all. i would get a job but im not old enough. its ridicules. and she is the tye that reads something and goes with it. she thinks meat is too fatty and evil. she thinks omea ish oild are a god send (despite hte fat levels ) she seems to think that a cracker and chotahage cheese warant a ull meal for me. anything more is gready.

Just eat what you have to eat, if she doesn't like it, she should just realize it's what you want to do. Once you put on alot of weight and get alot stronger, they should finally realize that you are serious about it. It was the same way with me when I started, but now they know my goals, and they support me all the way.
