Tweeter style
I was thinking earlier I wish there was like a Tweeter for bodybuilders. When you have this one thought or idea or rant you want to post but it's not enough for a blog and you don't want to start a new thread every time.
Therefore, I'm starting the random post thread.
I'll start.

Two days ago I started taking green tea extract and vitamin B6 for weight loss. Yesterday I did 50 min of cardio and this morning I saw I lost two pounds. This might be working!

Train, eat, sleep, repeat.
There's truth to that. I get up in the morning clean up, pack a days worth of food, go to work, after work I hit the gym, come home and eat, clean up, sleep. Get up the next morning and do it all again.

I was thinking the other day that bodybuilders, those in extreme sports, martial arts and mixed martial arts have a lot in common. What stands out in my mind is the discipline required to train your body to be at its best. While others may fail, to the dedicated failure is not an option. Unless you're doing reps....

Went to a party and talked to a guy who just started bodybuilding. I asked him does he take any protein powder after lifting weights.
He said "No, but I drink Ensure after lifting weights"
I just stared at him. And then I laughed.
I said "That's what grandmas drink".
Then he said "Yea! My grandmother got me hooked on this stuff".
I laughed again.
He decided to buy some protein powder.

I'm always pumped after reading the posts in The Do Work Crew group. The people there are focused, inspiring and hit their training hard. The Do Work Crew. You don't know? Better ask somebody!!
