Hi Mark,
Sorry for late message back bro.....
For ME I made the most gains in 2004-2005. As you my well know in 2004 I was a middle weight, not even making the top 5 at the british. Then 2005 I was a fully blown heavy weight winning my first overall title (gravesend classic) and winning the heavy weight class at the west midlands. Then placing 4th at the british all in one year. What I did was train all year for my shows. I cleaned my diet up, trained so hard and heavy, and slept as much as possible. I was personal training at the time so I would have 2-3 naps a day inbetween clients. I think sleep was a key factor for me as I was training so hard. I would say that 2004 was the year that I thought about given up but I am so happy now I stayed with it.
Sleep and more sleep lol
Troy

I am just trying to remember the last time I puked.....er...oh yeah I remember,
It was at forest gym in crawley, with my good buddy harold who is also a pro. We where both doing legs at the time. We used to do some crazy workouts back then lol
We both puked then carried on with are work out like it never happend lol
I was also close last week after legs but kept it down, I normally lie on the floor after legs training with my legs up on a chair.

Troy, I wanted to say thanks for hittin' up these boards! Any chance to chat with a pro is just awesome!
Also, I saw you when you guest posed at the Provincial show held here in Edmonton back in June, you looked really great! I was blown away.
I also heard you train at Club Fit south sometimes?

Yo Troy, one question
Why the move to canada?
I have the feeling one needs to head to the American continent to increase the prospect of sponsorship for events and stuff? Chat soon
