It's pretty surprising to see so many bb's who don't do chins/pull ups/chin ups. It's one of the only back exercises where you are moving your entire body through a plane of space. Which means greater strength gains, especially when adding weight. I personally think if you are not lifting yourself for 15-20 (whichever grip you prefer, although overhand works more back), then you need to start hitting the pull up bar.
The Marine Corps physical fitness test requires 20 with good form for a perfect score, smart because with this you must take your body weight into account and work the assisting muscle groups enough to correspond with your back.
My personal records are 26 with a vest/boots/utilities underhand, 25 with only body weight extra wide grip, and 37 body weight underhand.

What have you been smoking?
FYI, anyone able to do 100 reps with good form (ie. no leg kicking and swinging) in one set is almost UNHEARD of.
No wonder people reacted to your first message like they did.
Hey Euphoria, you know what? I can bench 515 for 15 reps.
"Let's see a vid of that"..

Anyways, I did 10 reps at 220 lbs, and have done 220 + 90 lbs for 4 reps. I always die after 8-10 reps, no matter what.

I'm not too great at them, but I can do about fifteen full range pullups with a slight pause at the top and the bottom. I think a lot of people do them improperly just to get a higher number.

if you weigh 250 and you can do 70 more lbs 10 times you should be able to beat the world record of 380 lbs total weighted pulled full ROM of course

Dude, I've been working out for 20 years. I have nothing, and never will have anything, to prove to you.
I don't know about any world records, nor do I care but Ed Coan does his chins with 200lbs hanging off of him. Go call him a liar too.

if i'm doing a weight assisted chin up, how much weight should i deduct from e machine? (those weight assisted chin ups), cause i'm trying to slow down e speed at which i lower myself but i won't be able to control with gravity pulling down. eg. if i'm 200 ibs, how much weight should i put for weight assist?

Just keep doing them often and you'll improve. If you want to make them your goal there's this pull ups program going around that has you do different pull up variations every day or so, do some searching it's been posted plenty of times.

is doin chin ups and pull ups alternatively gonna help my pull-ups. i need to improve my endurance on pull-ups in like 2 weeks time, from 5 reps to 8 reps. izt achievable?

I was gonna ignore this but I'm getting annoyed; however I will still show restraint in my repy. Just because I can do 10 pullups at my BW with 50lb-70lbs hanging off me dosen't mean I can get anywhere near the one rep max you calculated. I don't train for a max as it would be silly and accomplish nothing other than exposing me to some serious injury.
People don't have to video tape themselves and place it the internet just because someone else gets insecure and feels threatened by it. If you don't believe me then don't. But show some repect and humility, I can go around on this forum and call you out over silly **** too.

I can do eight pullups now, but could only do a few when I started doing them a few months ago.. I do them on my deck using some exposed 2x6's which kinda hurts my hands! I noticed that when I did them at the gym on pullup grips they were way easier, but I think doing them this way will help my hands get stronger too...

I've done 40, no lie --- the first 30 were good, and the last 10 were questionable, but decent. This was when I was weighing around 150 a couple months ago (@ 4.5% BF). Now, at 165 (feeling a LOT better) I can only get about 25 to 30 --- with the first 20 being good ones. Chins are great, but I don't absolutely love them.

I've done 26 @ 224lb. I was wearing clothes, maybe I should try pull-ups in the nude.
