Question Heavy weight training, sickness, and supplementation

Hey I was wondering if anyone has found any research to back up the theory that heavy weight training suppresses your immune system and if supplementation can prevent this from happening. I've been training heavy for the past couple of months and supplementing with multi's, fish oils, creatine, and protein. For the past 4 weeks I haven't been taking any supplements (nearing the end of my university semester so I'm broke lol) but I've still been lifting heavy and in the past month I've had pneumonia, a chest infection, and a throat infection. I'm wondering if my supplementation was preventing me from getting sick before when I was training heavy. Has anyone found any research or solid evidence to back any of that up?
