I Cant Frkin Sleep!!

ok so yesterday i had a decent workout i was at the gym for 4 hours did upper lower and cardio... soo i figured i would get home and sleep damn good... i usually try to get 8-9 hours of sleep cuz i work 12-16 hour days... well last night i get done with my abs routine.. blaw blaw blaw get in bed and all i can think about is what im gonna do next time at the gym and how im gonna improve what im doing now and this is at 9 so at 10 i give up and jump out bed get dressed and head to walmart.. to get some melatonin cuz i use to take it for like the night before the first day of school and it helped me really well.. so i took it at 10:15.. i get back home and still cannot sleep so i take another one.. i eventually fall asleep at 11 and wake up at 12 and again my mind is rushing with ideas and thoughts.. i fall back to sleep and wake up at 3 and have been trying to sleep since then..WTF can i take to sleep i would look it up but i gotta go to work.. and i figure maybe ill get some help from you guy and girls.. well talk at yah later

You might want to google some simple relaxation techniques. While it may seem stupid, something as simple as slow abdominal breathing and counting backwards from 10 to 1 can really help you unwind.

i dont think i have insomnia i just cant stop thinking aout improving myself and iLOVE working out.. and i tried the whole concentrate thing and then my mind wonders.. and my job isnt very hard so the 16 hrs isnt bad and usually 2 of the hourse r drive time.. thank u all for ur replies. if i imgined me beating someone up i wud prolly start thinking about how i can better my boxing.. it seems like i get anxiety i cant wait to not be soar so i can workout again so thats all i can think about wen trying to sleep.. well i gotta get back to work.. talk at yah later

I use Melatonin on nights I cant sleep. It works wonders. One 3mg tablet knocks me out in 15 minutes.

Try and get your workouts in as early as possible.Also split up your muscle groups.Upper and lower all in one workout is to much.What has happened is that you have put to much stress on your body and it won't allow it to relax.

haha word.u gotta j-off.it helps everyone I no who cant fall asleep b/c they took an N.O. product late or are just always wired the whole night when they take it.
