dance training!
anyone else do dance training on a regular? ive been training to be a belly dancer for about 4 months now (thats what really kicked my ass into losing weight and getting a lean, toned , tough body..especially sinc ejuly 4th is my first performance for dance and ill be wearing a bra and a long skirt on stage in front of tons of people at a huge celebration downtown)
ive never left a dance class without sweating needing some water. its good , fun exercise! sure we dont life weights but you do plea's for half hour pulsing up and down while doing dance arm movements keeping correct dance posture...you'll feel it lol.
for those that are bored with their routines...throw ina dance class every once in awhile! i would classify it under cardio if i had to give it a classification...and its great for flexibility, we do a lot of yoga at the end and stretching moves that are a bit painful when you start
just one of my passions that im sharing..and its exercise! if you by chance are in my local area, ill take you to class with me! :-P

Salsa
I am actually going to start taking Salsa lessons next week at least that is the plan. They have belly dance at the studio I am going to but I won't venture to much until summer.

I breakdance & do ballet.
Breakdancing really builds core & upper body strength. It is a really tough workout.
And ballet isn't as physcially tough but it's fun & builds hip/thigh & core strength in little ways where traditional strength training totally misses. I'm sure if I was a better ballerina is would be a good leg workout though.
