Sclerotherapy
Hi people! I am getting this procedure done called sclerotherapy this Thursday, because my legs have veeery bad varicose veins (especially on my left leg), and they sometimes hurt. I wont be able to work out significantly for atleast 15 days (although I am hoping that it will be less time). I am fairly new to all of this, but if anyone can tell me what I CAN do within my recovery time (so I dont go insane!) it would be greatly appreciated. Also, if anyone has ever had this procedure done before, I would like to know what your insight is on it and what your experience was like during and afterward. I'm really scared, but I think its something I have to do in order to perform at my best physically and so there are no complications to my health in the long run, since I was already given a warning by my physician about my leg condition. A big thanx to those who have been so supportive and helpful!
Sending you all lots of blessings and positive energy your way...

My roommate has a similar condition. She did a lot of walking once she was able to get up and move around. I know it's not as effective, but at least it will get you up and doing something.

Then only option is cardio-type workout, right. If the weather is right, could you go running, uphill walking, etc. Also, do you play any sport?

I have had it
They were small veins though. I din't really have much pain, but I am sure this depends on the size. They only did one leg at a time, 2 different visits..I don't really know why? Walk as soon as you can after, also wear a compression garment, a pair of thick tights is fine, the doctor might supply something. Good luck.
