Is it pain or soreness?
If pain, then you might need to get it checked out. If soreness, then it should get better. Was this the first time doing squats ever, or in awhile?

If it's just soreness then yes. It will get better as your body adapts. Try some low intensity cardio to get the blood pumping and the toxins flushed from your muscles. Stretch afterwards too.

As with the other posters, it will get better over time. Like the guy above me said, some low intensity cardio often does the trick, myself I'll tend to use the recumbant bike.

Lol, take the time off bro. Maybe don't go too hard next time. Manage the weight. Going hard too soon may cause problems. Get into the groove. This seems to be completely normal.

I am always sore for a few days after doing an intense workout I haven't done in awhile. I agree with stretching and cardio.

Loosen them up with some light cardiop, this will fix it. It wil get some blood into them and the pain will go away.
It gets better over time.

Gonna be like that for a few weeks. About 6 months in you probably won't feel any soreness from squatting.

if its your first time doing squats in a while, you just have to break the seal. it'll lessen with time.

the foam roller should help, but will hurt a lot as you do it. since it was your first time squatting in a while or maybe ever, they should hurt a lot for a little bit and then it will go away. it'll get progressively less sore after the next squat day.

Congratulations and now drink pineapple juice. Dont' know for sure but worked for me and there is suppose to be something in there that helps flush lactic acid.

Great advice! I've found riding the bike for 10-20 min. at the end of a leg day helps limit my soreness the next day...

Know what you mean. I squatted two weeks ago after three weeks off, and was sore for most of a week
It's an intense, involved exercise and if you push it (especially if you're not used to it) you'll feel it for a while. Call me crazy, but I take it as a good thing.
