Reviewing the 21st century so far has there been a more exciting series than...?
2008 NHL playoffs Bruins vs. Canadiens, Hell of a series.

Bruins ultimately ended domination of the Canadiens, come back and have a kick ass season. I love hockey.

It was a good series, but by no means the best of this decade.
01 Yankees vs. Diamondbacks
03 Yankees vs. Red Sox
04 Yankees vs. Red Sox
All better, and that's just baseball.

Yeah, but it was one of the most exciting. I mean the team barely makes the playoffs lose barely, come back and are 1st seed in the east.

It was definetly an amazing series. B's should have had 0 chance at all but they brought it to 7. While def not as good as the epic 04 Sox, it was great

Game 6 was amazing. But Game 7 was same old Bruins/Canadians story with Boston being serenaded off the ice by Montreal fans.

sox/yanks is arguably the best rivalry in all sports
the yankees are arguably the greatest franchise in all sports
the red sox were in an 86 year title drought
the red sox were down 0-3 after having lost 19-8 at home
they not only became the ONLY team to come back from 0-3 but they finished it off at Yankee stadium and the series included some of the best clutch hitting in playoff history by Ortiz.
oh yea....then the sox ended their drought with a world series sweep
steven spielberg couldnt make that **** up. and this the year after the yanks boot the sox out of the playoffs with a game 7 extra inning walkoff homer

This is true. If the 2003 and 2004 ALCS were movies, I would have walked out halfway through for them being absurd.

This. The series had it all. Goaltending duels, long overtimes, huge comebacks, Jovanovski doing his best gorilla impression in the box then several minutes later realizing it was his penalty that cost Vancouver the entire series. My biased pick for favorite of the decade so far.
