hey team, I haven't checked in for a while. I got sick earlier this month (flu) for about a week. It really knocked me out of my routine as I haven't eaten very well and haven't worked out since being sick. I just need to get started and once I do that I will be okay. Hope everyone is doing great.

Hang in there, Wiseguy. Do you still use white flood and I forget the other one you bought?
I'm taking a break from the gym for the next couple of weeks. Though I may pop in one day to meet my one-armed row goal for Apr 1st. As much as I love iron, I love working out outdoors more, and it's so nice now

Thanks Fit....Yes, I still have the white flood but only use it before workouts. I havent worked out in so long but I probably have about half a tub. BTW, I love it and it works great.

End of my V-Diet
Yesterday was the last day of my V-Diet for resaons mentioned below in the post from my log, I didn't drop much weight, but I'm pretty happy with my results.

I figure that its best to cut the V-Diet short by one week and transition properly rather than to just rush straight back into solid food.
My weight progress for the V-Diet has been miserable, had I relied on that alone I would have quit by now; in 3 weeks my weight dropped from 184.5lbs to 181lbs. However my Omron has shown a big drop in BF%; 29.8% to 23.9%. While 1-2% may be accounted for by my increase in height (I'm one inch taller than I thought I was) this is still a big drop. This is also backed up by photos and tape measurements; below are my results.
Weight: 184.5lbs to 181lbs
BF% (Omron): 29.8% to 23.9%
Fat Lost: 11.7lbs
LBM Gained: 8.2lbs

Forearms: 11.25" to 11.75"
Thighs: 25.0" to 24.5"

You look leaner, especially around the abs and chest. Your biceps have more definition. Great progress!

Are we posting Apr 1st stats here as usual? Due when? I'll probably do all my weighing, measuring (I found my tape measure), etc on 4th or 5th.

It's being extended. The question is, will the team threads die and we all (those wanting to continue) move over to the All Stars, or do we post in both in parallel, keeping the All Stars thread for monthly check-ins only.
I'm open to either though this thread is pretty dead. I think everyone is pretty set in their diet and routines and there's not much to talk about... which also sort of begs the question, why continue?

Why don't we take the remaining competitors in all the teams and make one big team. We could meet new people this way and expand our resources.

I don't see your name on the Mr. PHF competition sign-ups yet sir!
Hopefully this next week will be better! OH, BTW, Mr. PHF also includes the misses! They have several different catagories such as overall transformation, not just bulk. I think Fitopia would do great in it!

Hey all, remember that ring finger incident that I had about a month ago, it still hurts so I finally got it checked out. My family doctor did an examination then sent me to a hand specialist where they did x-ray's. It turns out that I hyper-extended my ring finger tendon on the inside of my right palm. The injury is only a slight rip which is causing inflammation, that's actually good news, I thought I may had a partially detached the tendon. I had to get a cortisone shot in the finger, that didn't feel too good and actually made my whole hand hurt, BUT things are starting to feel pretty good now three days after the shot.
