Smile New to this.

Hello Everyone.
I'm brand new to bb.com and I've lifted and dieted before, but this is my first time being really serious about it. I'm tall and pretty thin, but I wanan gain more muscle and tone. I don't want to look like one of those women with the huge bulky muscles. I just want to be in shape and have visibly toned muscles. I'm currently trying to find a new diet and workout plan. I was wondering if anyone could help me know where to find information on the right diet and workout plan for me.
Thank You!!

hey. dont worry about puting on huge bulky muscle. that is where girls usually limit themselves. they think that if they lift to much or lift weights heavier than the little colored rubber ones they are going to look masculine. but the truth of the matter is females dont have enough testosterone to even grow muscles like men. and you are not going to be eating enough to get bulky. you can lift heavy and push yourself and you should. the more lean muscle mass the more you will increase your metabolism.

split your workouts up. do chest one day, back, arms, shoulders, legs, abs maybe three times a week. then cardio before your workouts if you are trying to lose weight. look around on bb.com for excercises and just pick the ones you like and you know you will do when u go to the gym. then as you get more comfortable, change it up and switch to some different excercises.

any more specifics just let me know. good luck with everything. the key is just sticking with it.

it depends what your priority is. if its to lose weight then go ahead and do cardio first as your priority. you will have the most energy and will be able to do more. then after your life you have 30 min to get some whey protein in you and a good post work out meal.
